    Haven't you heard?

There is no such thing as voter fraud.

There is voter registration fraud, absentee voter fraud, purchasing votes, and potential voter fraud. The argument is not that these sorts of things exist, but that photo voter ID laws would not stop this sort of fraud.

Cases where photo voter ID laws might stop voter fraud--where someone who was dead and voted, or someone who voted twice --are extremely rare.

    That's your argument. Not mine.

I know voter fraud exists. More than anyone knows or will acknowledge. Voter ID laws are constitutional and needed. There is nothing to argue about.

And I know there is life on other planets. More than anyone knows or will acknowledge.

Why don't you post your proof of voter fraud? Actual votes that were illegally cast in a voting booth. Go for it.

There is voter fraud and I have posted examples of them over and over again through the years. Whether there is fraud or not have proof of who we are is only reasonable.

    Of course not.

Even without any mechanism to catch the perpetrators, there are hundreds of examples he chooses to ignore.

I did read the link. Sounds like you didn't though, since there is no actual fraudulent votes being cast.

There are stories of voter registration fraud, potential fraudulent votes being stopped from happening, stories of people urging other people to commit fraud, story about a person mailing another person's absentee ballot, story about vote buying, story about a guy that changed the dates on an election recall petition, etc.

Not one story about an actual fraudulent vote being cast. Hmmmm...

And to top it all off, none of these cases would have been prevented with photo voter IDs.

Show me a couple of incidents where someone was caught AFTER actually casting a fraudulent vote. C'mon, if it's so prevalent it ought to be a walk in the park to list a couple.

Don't bother. He's blind on the subject.

Even if you show him one he accepts, his next line will be that it's statistically insignificant...or words to that effect.

Explain how such votes are supposed to be detected AFTER they are cast. With no ID having to be shown, proving an illegal vote was cast is usually very difficult. The fact that all these other variations of vote fraud that CAN be more readily detected are occurring regularly should suggest to a reasonable person that maybe these same kind of people are also engaging in another kind of fraud that is much harder to detect. Since your side benefits from vote fraud, you're obviously willing to take that chance. Well, those of us who believe we should be able to have confidence that our votes mean something, and who have seen for a long time that liberals only care about winning and don't care how they get there, have a higher standard. Voter ID isn't a cure-all, but it is an essential component of a common sense approach to making elections as honest as possible. Anyone can see that, including liberals. The problem liberals have with voter ID is that, in their view, an honest election is a bad thing.

Poll: 13% of Illegal Aliens ADMIT They Vote

As we always knew, California and American elections are filled with fraud and corruption. Thanks to a new poll, we now know that approximately 13% of illegal aliens vote. Since they are already criminals, stealing ID’s or using phony ID’s. lie to get welfare, steal jobs—why not vote as they to lose. Since they can not be deported or jailed, they have nothing to lose. Obama is protecting these law breakers.
