Thank you C4K! CBT must really hate Trump as much false, slander & smear garbage that he posts about him.

On another note, from the Snopes piece, 1999:

" I think that nobody is really hitting it right. The Democrats are too far left. .... The Republicans are too far right. And I don't think anybody's hitting the chord, not the chord that I want hear, and not the chord that other people want to hear,..."

And that's precisely "the chord" that's gained him such a large following today.

It's not that Crabby hates Trump so much it's just that he prefers having authoritarians and pick pockets in power.

A couple of problems with the snopes article. First, while they claimed to have searched extensively through the archives there is no indication they made any contact with the magazine editors themselves. I do not think simply going through the archives are exhaustive enough to make a definitive claim either way.

Further, their insistance that Fox News was not very prominent in 1998 is just flat out incorrect.

So you think Snopes is wrong and Trump actually said what CBT posted?

    Thank you.

    Snopes article:

"...the Fox News Channel was rolled out across major American news markets between 1996 and 2000..."

So what's "flat out incorrect" about it?

"...While the Fox News Channel was rolled out across major American news markets between 1996 and 2000 (and thus isn't entirely chronologically out of place in a circa-1998 quote), the network wasn't nearly as prominent or widely watched until the 2000 election of George W. Bush, the September 11th attacks in 2001, and the start of the Iraq War in 2002. Before that time, although Fox News was making its way into living rooms across the United States, it was not exceptionally well-known (or particularly regarded as a right-leaning outlet) in 1998."

It's a simple problem to solve - source the supposed quote.

And no, I do not support Trump in any way, shape, or form. He hasn't an original thought in his body and just blathers about whatever it takes to get attention.

Precisely what the neocons have been doing to get the 'evangelical vote' last three elections. Tell em' how pro-Zionist you are and that Muslims are our enemies 'just because'.

Fear mongering and war mongering seems to be what evangelicals want to hear.
