Getting Republicans to agree is like trying to drive a herd of cats.

    From: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...shredded-donald-trump-in-the-national-review/

Donald Trump must be stopped: That's the theme binding anavalanche of essaysby conservative thought leaders — 22 in all — that the National Review sent thundering down the political mountain onto GOP voters late Thursday, along with aneditorialby the magazine's editors.

With a massive winter storm expected along the East Coast this weekend, perhaps some of the35 percent of Republicanswho support the real estate mogul-reality TV star will be buried in actual snow, with nothing better to do than read all 9,000 words and change their minds.

Or perhaps they will dismiss "Against Trump" — the title of this special collection by one of the nation's preeminent conservative publications — as just another chorus of naysaying from the loathsome, out-of-touch "establishment." (The National Reviewdidjust getdropped as a debate sponsorby the Republican National Committee, however, which might help the magazine appear less establishment-y.)

    Is "Yuge" like saying "yutes"?

(conservative not voting for Trump; no need to "shred" him, he does a fine job by himself)

No "Yuge" is how Trump pronounces the word "huge". Actually, I think he says it more like, "ewe-idge" but, whatever.

This again is why so many are starting to comment about a brokered convention. For as much as some in the GOP want others to believe that they are getting behind Trump or Cruz, the party is still pretty much fractured three ways.

Interesting that the RINO's seem to want to get rid of Cruz while the somewhat more conservatives want to get rid of Trump.

And that's a good thing. Democrats are more like sheep. Not a brain in the bunch. But they follow the leader real good, even when they are known liars and criminals.

In starting to think that the Donald is the first act in the multi-act drama where God judges the American people. Our corporate sins were the prelude.

Or it could be that this reality tv obsessed culture is simply going after that which it has desired for years.

No, they'll never be a brokered GOP convention - brokered conventions are a Democrat thang (superdelegates). Dream on.

NRO is unrecognizable from its WJB days. This makes me think it is a RINO/GOPe outlet because they could stomach and endorse McCain and Romney, yet they sound like DU on Donald Trump. Don't these elites realize that bashing Trump is also bashing all his supporters, and many of them have deep concerns on the way this country is headed? And a divisive intraparty battle plays right into Hillary's hands and as for WaPo, that's biggest concern troll rag out there.

Since he thinks it's a troll rag, why would he read it at all? Even without reading it, it's impossible to dodge an occasional off the wall blurb by WaPo.

One good thing the Donald has done - stirred up a hornets nest and awakened the sheeple to action.

Some would say the judgment was evident during the corrupt Reagan Administration and has progressively gotten worse. I mean , his administration was responsible for the scourge that is AIDS. And since he refused to give aid to help end Apartheid in South Africa, we should also blame him for being the father of racial division in this country.

And let's not forget Iran-Contra. Reagan is no doubt responsible for orchestrating the mess that is currently taking place in Iran. His actions no doubt are responsible for ISIS.

And let's not forget that Reagan is the one who really started depleting the Social Security fund.

My gosh. Talk about a corrupt administration. Reagan was surrounded by corruption. His attorney general resigned after he was involved with a company that received illegal no-bid contracts. His secretary of the interior, who thought his job was to sell off federal lands to defense contractors, was indicted on multiple counts of perjury.

Reagan’s vice president and successor, George Bush, pardoned six separate people for their roles in the Iran-Contra affair, including Reagan’s National Security adviser and his secretary of defense.

Yep. If God started judging this country, it had to have started under the GodFather Administration of Corruption---The Reagan Administration.

Racial division began with the Reagan administration. Ain't that a new one?

If so, what will the much more recent Iran-obama coalition be responsible for?

Well, he lived into h is 90's, but one old feller's check wouldn't do that.

Your what? You got one of them?

    Watt?

And how did Reagan's predecessor pardon for illegal acts?

Then God doesn't enforce very stern judgment, does he? Arguably the most corrupt administration in history was Grant's, and there are interesting parallels.... a popular man for other things elected president, the spoils system, a country after a lot of unrest wanting to be more stable again after 'enough' change. But judgement is not to be seen.

Better than it beginning Jan 20, 2009 the way some of you obviously think.

If I am to take a que from the Reagan "political conservatives", it will be as harmless as was the Reagan one.

He had lots of checks with lead numbers followed by lots of zeros written against the SS fund. SO one old feller's check would do that.

Yep. It was sitting on the car lot next to the Priuses.

I didn't mention a predecessor. But good to see you didn't disagree.

If you say so. But the case can be made that God started judging the country with the incredibly corrupt Reagan Administration.

Most of the trouble in this country started in 1913 with the "Federal Reserve Act".

With this act congress became subservient to a private international banking cartel and "we the people" have been slaves to their debt based monetary system ever since.
