Enjoy this video. It reminds me of my reformed/DoG/Cal brothers on here who preach the truth unequivocally. Those who deny the lost were seeking God, love God, but as Scripture declares they instead hate God. Some deny this truth and talk of them loving and seeking God.

Good little short video. Enjoy, and keep, contend, stand up for the truth!

How can such men be wrong?

Why look at the blessings of the large ministry. Look at the obvious health and wealth. Look at the programs they sponsor on TV, radio, internet, and the honor they receive. Does not all this mean that they are certainly right?

Do not believers contend that God blesses what is right? Isn't the evidence that one is in the center of God's will, when health, wealth, and accumulation of worldly honors are poured out?

"I don't know" the Scriptures, I can only tickle ears and serve up motivational speeches.

"I don't know" the Scriptures, so I can't tell a person they are condemned already by not believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as the way, the truth, the life.

"I don't know" the Scriptures, so I can't even find myself convicted of sin and ungodliness.

"I don't know" the Scriptures, that the Lord says, "Depart from me, I never knew you."

    Readers:
The single most used tool of the enemy of believer is doubt!

"I don't know" is the height of doubt!

Godly men and women across this land need to mark this breed of popularity for what it is, not worthy to bear the name of Christ.

One can't claim him to be in heresy, or apostasy, because that would be to state the man had true faith and belief and has left it. There is no testimony of conversion that I have found, and certainly nothing of God's call to the ministry. His mother called when her husband died.

The man is a charlatan, a faker, a showman.

He is certainly not a believer in the God of all heaven and earth, and the Son of Righteousness, or the Holy Spirit would have driven him to his knees long ago in repentance.

What kind of believer sits and listens to that man?

What kind of person wants to associate with someone and sit under their leadership who can only say, "I don't know" to the most important question of one's life? Do you personally know and believe the Lord Jesus Christ has saved you, keeps you, and will present you faultless before the Father and as a result live for Him daily?

I really enjoy Steve Lawson and other men like him as well. It is solemn to behold the many who attend Lakewood church in large numbers who are deceived into a false gospel. 2 Cor. 4:4 comes to mind.

I see Bob Hope is still trolling the site. A person who has called the Scriptures error, who HAS been reported for just that, and now dogs my every post to give them a 'dumb' rating. The more dumb ratings he gives the more I know I'm on the right track. :)

Interesting... There is a Truth!... There is your Truth!... There is my Truth!... And there is Biblical Truth!... The latter is the one desired and sought after and one we all search for... In searching for that ultimate truth and understanding we come to the truth we embrace... In my walk with the Lord I have turned from a Truth I thought I knew and understood to a Truth I received greater enlightment on admitted my error and moved on... Taking with me a New Truth... Not new that it just appeared that truth had always been there but new to me and the biblical application to it... There are some men who know the truth as there are some men who don't... But how many men faced with a new truth will embrace that truth admit their error and be willing to move on to greater understanding?... Brother Glen

He's given me 45+ 'dumbs'. Someone who openly denies bible inerrancy is allowed but a modalist isn't? o_O

At least the modalist believes the scriptures as being inerrant.

Dr. Lawson is soooo biblically solid. His sermon from Galatians 1 is awesome. He also has a very solid sermon taken from Ephesians 1.

    Thanks for posting it.

Osteen says concerning those in India that 'He knows their sincerity', as if that is what matters.

Many professing believers who would despise Osteen's teachings here would condemn themselves.

They too preach it is all about how sincere the person is. Yet it, salvation, knowing God, has nothing to do with man's determination, will, sincerity; John 1:13; James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:1ff; Romans 9:16. It is all Christ. It is not combined with anything other. All of it is Christ. It is not based upon sentimental sincerity.

I never ask a person when talking about salvation/them doubting their salvation 'How sincere were you'? It's not based on them! That's not it, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the person, it is all Christ.

But that's the problem, they are basing their salvation on themselves, 'how sincere they were' and many will remain blinded to that error and never see it.

There is nothing new under the sun.
Almost three hundred years ago, the French deist Jean-Jacques Rousseau wrote:-

"It is asked of the ministers of the church of Geneva if Jesus Christ be God? They dare not answer. It is asked, if He were a mere man. They are embarrassed, and will not say they think so. A philosopher, with a glance of the eye, penetrates their character. He sees them to be Arians, Socinians, Deists; he proclaims it, and thinks he does them honour. They are alarmed, terrified; they come together, they discuss, they are in agitation, they know not to which of the saints they should turn, and after earnest consultations, deliberations, conferences, all vanishes in smoke; and they neither say, yes, nor no. Oh! Genevans, these gentlemen, your ministers, in truth are very singular people! They do not know what they believe, or what they do not believe. They do not even know what they would wish to appear to believe. Their only manner of establishing their faith is to attack the faith of others.'

And that had been the church of Calvin, Beza and Turretin! In God's mercy, the teaching of the Scottish Baptist Robert Haldane brought about revival there in 1816. God may yet have mercy on Britain and America.

If you cherry-pick the scriptures, you can put out an ear tickling message, God loves you, and if you do this and that you will go to heaven, you can gain a large audience, what does that tell us. They are wrong and we are right? How about they are wrong and we need to watch out step to avoid the same pitfall?

Doctrines based on eisegesis, adding a little here, taking a little there, are untethered from the truth. The only way to avoid the wrath of God for our sins is to be washed by the blood of Jesus. Everyone believing into Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

    Yes, watch ourselves:
Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. - 1 Timothy 4:16

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15

And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
    - Revelation 12:11
