When Jesus healed

Often in the NT, when Jesus physically healed someone, it was done the individuals request, as opposed to Jesus walking up to someone and saying, I want to heal you.

Can you thank of instances where Jesus healed someone without being asked?

Jesus did not come until His sisters asked for help

( when I posted the OP, I meant to include anyone who asked for assistance - even if they were not the one who needed healing.)

I was just in too much of a rush - to properly proofread. At the time - it was close enough for Govt work

This is why when my husband has gone to people to pray for them for healing, it is always at their request (or the request of someone else) and he always asks them before he prays, "What are you wanting us to pray for?" Like you said, Jesus always healed after someone requested it.

Mark 5:25-29

King James Version (KJV)

25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

On a deeper level we see Christ healing through salvation without the beneficiary ever asking.

But great question.

God bless.

Huh?

Luke 22:50-51
And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his right ear. But Jesus said, "No more of this!" And he touched his ear and healed him.

I actually have a similar policy. I don't go out and thrust myself on people. Doesn't mean I don't pray for those who have been brought to my attention, but, I have had a few times where I have gone to see people in the hospital and it became clear that I had overstepped my bounds.

And another good example.

God bless.

I don't think Jerome's "huh?" was in response to the policy, but about the assertion concerning Jesus.

Thank you - seems this might be the only instance - but it could be argued that Jesus took this action due to the mis-action of his disciple.

Luke14:1-6
One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, he was being carefully watched. There in front of him was a man suffering from dropsy. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?" But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, he healed him and sent him away. Then he asked them, "If one of you has a son or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull him out?" And they had nothing to say.
