    Why di God create the physical universe? Why did He just put in Heaven to start with? Why put man here where Satan is roaming to and fro?

    How did God get glory for creating this place when compared to the Heavenly creation?

    I can see how Creation itself testifies to the glory of God, revealing His nature. I've never been to Heaven (but I've been to Oklahoma). When I consider Heaven I think of standing in God's presence, seeing face to face, and knowing as I am known. It's not about Heaven as a location, or Creation as a physical place. It is about God.

    Your question should be, in relation to man how does Creation reflects God's glory compared to God's glory revealed in Heaven. The answer is dimly compared to face to face.

    a dim glory then, perhaps another purpose?

    Isa 45:18

    For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

    Great Question. Do you have an answer? Upon what do you base your answer?

    Scripture tells us the answer to why God created mankind. Now in order for us to exist we need an environment that provides for us (right temperature range, enough food and water, shelter from the harsh environment, etc).

    Now why did God do what He did, and not some other thing? For example create us in glorified bodies, and skip the travail of being born in iniquity. Scripture tells us what God choose to do, and sometimes gives us reasons for God's actions, but no where do I know of where it tells us why God chose as He did.

    We were created to glorify God. When we repent we bring glory to God. Now you can speculate till the cows come home as to why God chose that action, but that speculation would be without merit.

    Not a dim glory, but the perception of imperfect beings viewing the reflection of an eternally magnificent glory which will be realized in the presence of God. I do not see that we fully comprehend what God has revealed of Himself. Imagine when we see face to face and know ad we are known. Same glory. Different us. We will be perfected, glorified (reflecting clearly God's glory).

    It was created for Christ's work of Redemption. It was that work by which He received a name that is above every name. Phl 2:9

    I agree with Aaron, The single purpose of physical creation is the redemption of sinners .

    Redeeming undeserving sinners glorifies God.

    This space and time were created for this single purpose, a holding place for sinner s, a delay in judgement of sinners, a pardon presented to sinners. Space and time will end when the purpose ends and God's mercy ends.

    What else would he do with a physical universe, considering such did not exist?

    Did the following require a physical world, a world subject to vanity, futility?

    Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Heb 2:14 Is flesh and blood the manner in which the following Son was manifested?
    He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. < For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8

    Redemption was going to be necessary from the moment God said, "Let there be light," and divided the good light from the darkness of verse 2. IMHO

    Foreordained from the foundation of the world. 1 Peter 1:20 Who/what? The Christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot to shed his precious blood for redemption. V's 18,19.

    Glorifying the redeemed will bring glory to God. Eph 1:12-23

    I believe he received a name above all names, because he learned the obedience, through the things he suffered Hebrews 5:8, becoming obedient unto death even the death of the cross Phil 2:8 ----- Next verse beginning-- διό =ing, διό dió, dee-o'; from G1223 and G3739; through which thing, i.e. consequently:—for which cause, therefore, wherefore.

    Or as it is stated in Hebrews 1:4,5 YLT having become so much better than the messengers, as he did inherit a more excellent name than they. For to which of the messengers said He ever, 'My Son thou art -- I to-day have begotten thee?' and again, 'I will be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me for a son?'

    Acts 13:30,33 YLT and God did raise him out of the dead, God hath in full completed this to us their children, having raised up Jesus, as also in the second Psalm it hath been written, My Son thou art -- I to-day have begotten thee.

    Of course his obedience unto death was his redemptive work, as you said.

    Why would this be so, an action by God? We were chosen so that we could "proclaim the excellencies of Him" who called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. Thus to proclaim His glory. Scripture says when we repent we bring Him glory, not when God redeems us.

    "Everyone who is called by My name and whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, even whom I have made."

    Now it is possible to pour NT theology back into Isaiah 43:7 and read it "redeemed for my glory" but (1) that would be unsound exegetically, and (2) if read this questionable way, the redemption only facilitates God receiving glory from the redeemed. Thus I find no scriptural support for the quoted view.

    All things were created by Christ and for Him. It is He that works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. We are His workmanship.

    The purpose of Creation is the Cross.

    Isa 43:7 KJV Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

    Isa 43:1 KJV But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

    They were foreordained before the foundation of the world, to be redeemed. Before Adam was created as the, flesh and blood of Hebrews 2:14

    IMHO: Adam was created, life (soul) of the flesh in the blood. Lev. 17:11 Of the flesh, fleshly, carnal. Redemption had already been foreordained before the foundation of the world. Adam was created carnal, sold under sin. The creation as a whole at the moment of Genesis 2:2,3 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made, was this; Romans 8:20 NKJV For the creation <Gen 2:3,3 was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

    That hope is is the redeemer, being obedient unto death even the death of the cross. And what is the hope, the redemption, of the redeemer? Is it not per Romans 8:24,25,23 the redemption of the body, the promise of God, made before the world began, < Titus 1:2 the hope of eternal life.

    Was that hope not authored when the redeemer was raised from the dead, to die no more, no more to return to corruption? Heb 5:9 Rom 6:9, Acts 13:34 & 2 Tim 1:10 Darby; but has been made manifest now by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has annulled death, and brought to light life and incorruptibility by the glad tidings;

    I ask, is that my opinion or is it the word of God?
