Urgent Prayers Needed

My wife and I are going through some very rough times right now Spiritually and financially we are in our golden years and on a fixed income and it is getting harder and harder everyday... We wonder if our move to be near the kids was worth it and we felt at the time God was impressing us to move so we did and although we go to church when we can and the church has been very supportive we had nothing but trials, affliction and tribulation since we've been here... Although both of us were brought up in the church from a young age and love the church and the people we met through our pilgrimage journey sometimes my heart and soul is just crushed wondering when God will show up and reveal to us why we were sent here... We have cried and cried unto the Lord and he seems to be silent and if he is showing us anything maybe we are just blind and not seeing what he has revealed.... Why do we suffer so?...
