I'd have to see what it has morphed into, but as it was presented originally, I'd vote no. The changes being made of late, dropping some of the mandatory coverage is encouraging, but I see little else that would lower costs. For example, nothing about buying insurance across state lines.

If they really wanted to keep costs down and if they are going to retain the clause providing coverage regardless of any preexisting conditions then there needs to be a mandatory coverage clause.

(Being on Tapatalk I can't see the actual poll, so I can't cast a vote.)

I'm against it. Full Repeal. Get the government out of Healthcare. Trump may be for universal (socialist) Healthcare, but as a Constitutional Conservative I want the government far away from it.

I don't understand why they didn't simply pass the repeal bill they passed in 2015 but was vetoed by Obama. It GOT RID of Obamacare since it was a full repeal bill.

Then monkey around with a replacement bill of you like, but at least Obamacare would have been toast.

I agree. They have passed full repeal through the house multiple times and they proved that they can do it through reconcilation in the Senate as well. But Trump and the Establishment GOP have made it clear that they don't want to repeal it dispite 7 years of winning on that very promise. It's up to the antiestablishment Republicans in both the house and the Senate to hold the GOP to the promise they have made for 7 years. If they don't 2018 will not be kind to them (mid terms are never nice to the party in power, but there is not nice and than there is 2010 shalacking bad. And all the hubris in the world will not change that, just ask the "permanent majority" Dems where all their hubris got them.)

Now he says we'll have Obamacare if he doesn't get his way. Are you sick of winning yet?

Again, why not simply repeal Obamacare and go back to what we had 8 years ago?

President Trump warned House Republicans on Thursday that he will leave ObamaCare in place unless they approve legislation to repeal and replace it.

Trump officials meeting with the House GOP conference said Trump is done negotiating over the legislation, which was set to come up for a vote Thursday but was delayed.

Trump threatens to leave ObamaCare in place if repeal bill fails

Why? Where did it go? If I want to buy a policy in Minnesota from one of the three insurance companies I can do it without going through an Obamacare exchange.

I had a friend who hated socialism in any form. When Oboma came our he was agin it! I ask him, if I fall to ground with a cardiac emergency and without care I would certainly die. Having no health care would you take me to the hospital? Of course I would he replied. With out insurance should they treat me or should I die without treatment? Yes, they should keep you alive. Who is going to pay my bill. I replied, it is not that you do not believe in socialism, rather it is the degree of socialism where we come to disagreement. The same rubric applies to social security. Shall we let our low paid farm workers, our retail clerks and a myriad of others die with no home, no food or heat? Most of us would not let their needs go untended. Why, the biblical mandate to unconditional love.

We spout the recipes of Adam Smith and claim the title capitalist without thinking the matter through, or embrace the title socialist attempting feats of social engineering which sound good but are unreachable. It is easier to accept titles than it is work out what we really feel about the matter. I use the word feel because Gods calling on our life is about feeling, affect. Do I really want my pie and keep it to me me me or do I love my peers and am I my brothers keeper. I am not a pinko nor do I have enough money to claim the title capitalist. The Bible is my guide to faith an practice.

Having a piece of paper that says "health insurance" does not equal having access to health care. Thanks to Obama care the cost of my "health insurance" is so high that we literally cannot afford to use it. Every time I need to go to the doctor it is cheaper for me to pay cash than to give them my insurance information, have the insurance refuse to pay and than be billed at the higher rate. Paying cash tells me that free market principles will work in health care. Even if something catastrophic happened to me it would cost us over half of my husbands take home pay a year before my insurance would pay a dime. So I want full repeal of the Obamacare disaster because I have thought it through and think that if we have insurance we should be better off than without, which at the moment we are not, it is just money being thrown away every month, that I could put to much better use elsewhere.

The press reported that only 17% of Americans support the American Health Care Act.

In this highly scientific poll of BaptistBoard members we confirm this percentage!

Helping someone out in an emergency is not socialism. Not even close.

That is true. The low-cost limited benefit insurance policies that were prior to the ACA no longer exist as they do not meet the minimum standards as required.
