I started a thread whereby science argues that all aspects in nature are predetermined by nature itself. In that study the overall connectivity of matter leads to everything being predetermined. In a theistic argument it would stand to reason that God's will would direct the process of the "clock" which the clock maker built.

R.C. Sproul, (Ligoniers Ministry), says that he believes in "Absolute Predestination." Everything that comes to pass, is ordained by God. He says that evil in the Universe is ordained by God,
    otherwise it would not exist.

God's Sovereignty is absolute, according to Sproul. Man has limited agency and can not thwart the counsels of His will. No one receives injustice from God. Some receive mercy, and the rest receive what their deeds deserve.

Has anyone else heard of "Absolute Predestination"?

What was Calvin's teaching on predestination?

    John Calvin on the subject...
A Treatise of the Eternal Predestination of God by John Calvin | Monergism
Nothing, therefore, is done but that which the Omnipotent willed to be done, either by permitting it to be done or by doing it Himself. Nor is a doubt to be entertained that God does righteously in permitting all those things to be done which are done evilly. For He permits not this, but by righteous judgment. Although, therefore, those things which are evil, in so far as they are evil, are not good, yet it is good that there should not only be good things, but evil things also. For, unless there were this good, that evil things also existed, those evil things would not be permitted by the Great and Good Omnipotent to exist at all. For He, without doubt, can as easily refuse to permit to be done what He does not will to be done, as He can do that which He wills to be done. Unless we fully believe this the very beginning of our faith is perilled, by which we profess to believe in God ALMIGHTY!”

Thank you MennoSota for your excellent research!

Tyndale46 has started a thread in the Calvinism / Arminianism forum, titled,
"Election and Predestination in perfect harmony." (This is very close to the actual title.)

Take a look at this new debate site. Glen has quoted quite extensively from two sources:
    Sproul and the Westminster Confession.

I am leaving this debate for the new one. Please don't be offended.
