    Yesterday, 29 May was the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Even though I am a Republican I like Kennedy because he was the first Catholic president.

    People on both sides of the issues, incorrectly and without talking with those of us that sat on the Tarmac with our Helicopters, tanks and other equipment waiting to go invade Cuba, have determined that the man we admire and chose to serve under was a terrible president. They have no idea of the heart ache us old Military Men hold for the calm and cool mad man of the sixties means to us. They do not wish to learn the truth.
