    John 20:31 but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.


    1. The gospel was put in writing that we may believe
    2. We must believe in Jesus Christ.
    3. Believing in Jesus provides new life. You are now living and no longer dead.

    Dead men cannot hear and dead men cannot see.

    1. The gospel was put in writing by God's sovereign will so that those whom God makes alive might know Him and grow in faith.
    2. We must be adopted by God, made alive in Christ, so that we might believe.
    3. Believing in Jesus good news is an evidence of God's redeeming work. We have been placed in Christ and we no longer live according to our worldly flesh as a means of attaining righteousness.

    We need to exercise saving faith, but that is a gift from God unto us, as dead in sin people do not have that faith!

    You do know that the Father and Jesus are two, different, Persons of the Godhead. Right?

    The lifting up of Jesus is the general call of the Gospel. The specific call of the Father always results in them being raised up on the last day.

    You have confused two separate calls.

    The All there would have to be qualified as being all those whom the Father called and drawn to Jesus to get saved!

    I have confused nothing, I am fully understanding of your errant theology. Scripture nowhere indicates that is always results in them being raised up.

    Well, except the Gospel call of Christ on the cross, and the drawing of the Father to the Son.

    My bible is not errant. It is inerrant. No one comes to Christ except the Father draws Him, and all that the Father draws, Christ will raise up on the last day. That's bible.

    And you chide Yeshua1 for being incoherent? LOL!

    Just because you and I disagree does not mean I am confused. You are misusing that word.

    I never said it was. I said your theology is. Not the same thing as the Bible. Not sure why that needs to be explained.

    No that is your errant theology. Jesus said when He was lifted up He would draw all men.

    Again you are better than this.
