It is difficult for me to understand why anyone believes that Jesus second coming is in the past. There are so many prophecies that have not been fulfilled in light of the Revelation and many other passages concerning that coming event. Here are a list of things one must consider:

    1. In A.D. 70 the Romans won the war. Jesus was seen nowhere either in the sky nor on earth. The 'comet' I've been told about doesn't qualify. Why? Because John told us
"Every eye shall see him", Rev. 1:7.

    2. The whole earth will know that Christ is coming at the end of things; "For a snare, it shall come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth." Luke 21:35. And also: Matt. 24:30 " And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds... But most of the earth in ancient time did not even know about Jesus death nor of his later (so-called) 2nd coming in A.D. 70... and... almost nothing was said about the matter in historical records. The people on earth will see JESUS coming, not a comet.

    3. The seven seals, the seven trumpets, the seven vials of wrath, and the three woes did not happen at any time in history including A.D. 70. No scorpian-like devils tormented men for five months with human beings attempting to kill themselves and yet failing in that attempt.

    4. The oceans did not turn to blood nor even 1/3 of the oceans ever turn to blood.

    5. There was no antichrist. Nero was not the antichrist in the 1st century because the world did not worship him nor did he enforce the mark of the beast upon the populace of that empire. And neither his reign nor was the reign of any other Roman emperor 42 months in length as mentioned in Rev. 13: 5. Nero's reign over the Roman empire was from A.D. 54-68. After an unstable situation afflicted Rome for a few yrs, Vespasian became emperor from A.D. 69 to A.D. 79. No one qualified as 'Antichrist' in the first century nor any century afterwards.

    6. When Vespasian's consul Titus, the legionaire invaded Jerusalem in A.D. 70 he found no ark in the Holy of holies. He did not therefore do what Antiochus Epiphanes had done in 65 B.C. and offer 'the abomination of desolation' as John predicted (26 years later!).

    7. There was no 'battle of Armageddon' during that time frame. The valley of Megiddo has yet to be filled with blood to the horses bridles...(Rev. 14:20) nor were there three demonic frog-like devils that persuaded the kings of the earth to come to Jerusalem to destroy Jerusalem and the Jews. It was just the Romans who invaded.

    8. Jesus did not touch down on the Mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4)nor did he enter through the eastern gate as was promised in Ezekiel 44:2-4. He has not yet sat on the throne of David as was promised in Isaiah 9:6-7).

    9. The Jews have never converted to Christ (with but few exceptions comparatively) as Paul promised in Romans 11:26. They were scattered by the Romans all over the world and only since 1947 have they made any mass migrations back to their homeland, the land of promise as God gave to Abraham.

    10. The promise of Jesus that , "This generation shall not pass until all these things be fulfilled..." BEGAN to be fulfilled in A.D. 70 -----the days of vengeance BEGAN then but it has not been completed and won't be until the time of the gentiles is over. Jesus postponed the kingdom until then. In His own words;

    Matthew 21:43
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

The prophecy of 'this generation' will be fulfilled and the Jews that persecuted him will see His 2nd coming from hell.

    11. The sheep and the goats being judged just after Christ's return to earth has never been fulfilled. Matt. 25:33.

There is more and I may post them later. "Come quickly, Lord Jesus!"

You should attempt refuting the points I made before coming to a conclusion.

Your comment reminds me of the atheistic report of the cosmonaut I remember from news reports in the 60s, saying that he did not see God while he was in space.

You are looking for a physical fulfillment of a spiritual prophecy.

I probably do not have time to address all the points since I am traveling in various part of Peru, only some of which have Internet. But I will take a stab at some of them.

    WEIRD NEWS [LINK]
Steve Fletcher, who monitors events that could signal the end of mankind, believes the Rapture starts today.
He said: “Time is up and all hell breaks loose after June 21, 2018.”
He explained a number of factors had allowed him to pinpoint the end of times – which coincides with Summer Solstice, the ending of spring and the starting of summer.

Writing on his website, he said: “Many people have had dreams and visions that the rapture will occur shortly after the death of Billy Graham [a prominent evangelical Christian figure].

“Billy Graham passed away this year on the same day as Moses, February 21.

“That's exactly four months or 120 days before June 21.

“That ties in with the 120 Jubilees since creation, and 120 years being the age that Moses was when he died. Very significant number, that 120.

    “It's a multiple of 12 – we have the 12 disciples, the 12 stars of Revelation 12.”

“Coincidence? I think not.” Mr Fletcher continued.

“The odds are of all of these events occurring on the same day by chance goes off the chart of probability. Thus, I believe that True Pentecost and the Rapture is on (or around) the adjusted Torah Calendar date of Thursday – June 21-22, 2018 – on the sixth day of the fourth month.”

That would be Jewish time, right? So after Sunset on June 21 and before Sunset on June 22 (Jerusalem time).

Does anyone know the conversion from Jerusamem time to EST? I think they are ahead of me. (I hope that I haven't missed the Rapture AGAIN!)

When jesus returns, there shall be the resurrection of the dead and living in Him in physical glorified bodies, still a future event!

What are these "dreams" and "visions" of an End Times just after Billy Graham dies? I truly doubt they will line up with the bible. It sounds like these "visions" and "dreams" provide the justification to believe the End Times is upon us soon.

[Act 1:9-11 NIV] 9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. 10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."

I think someone would have mentioned this if it had already happened. Jesus' return is still a future physical event.

This is an ancient trick used against believers, the bible is clear: 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12. When the Man of Lawlessness is declaring himself God in Jerusalem, and is accompanied by signs and wonders, we know the hour has come.

I was under the impression that happens when Jesus returns ... the whole "I go to prepare a place - I will return" and "dead will rise first - meet him in the air" thing.

However, we ARE part of the Kingdom of God and Christ IS on a throne, so some things seem to have started already and some have not.

Then take the time to answer all of them; All the time you need. I want nothing less. I am in no hurry.

P.S. and please don't miss Zechariah 14:9 "And the LORD shell be king over all the earth; in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one."

In that day there will be no other god's. Jesus will have no competition. Name the day and period of time since that happened in human history?

    • 1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
    • 1 Corinthians 3:17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
    • 2 Corinthians 6:16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    • 2 Thessalonians 2:4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Paul doesn't mention the temple of God apart from the Church

I honestly wasn't aware of that argument.

So, I will instead, to be non divisive, say:
When the Man of Lawlessness is declaring himself God, and is accompanied by signs and wonders, we know the hour has come.
