If Christ abolished circumcision on the cross, and one could not be a member of physical Israel apart from it, there are no genuine physical members of Israel today. Jesus is Israel along with those united to him by faith.
Paul in Galatians contasted for us physical and spiritual israel, those who are physical jews only, and those now also spiritial ones!

After Jesus abolished circumcision on the cross, that generation who were circumcised before then remained physical Jews. These are the unbelievers he broke off from Israel. But after that generation the Law had fully expired and the New Covenant was fully in force.

Rom 11:26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
Rom 11:27 “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Rom 11:28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

The issue of the Jews being jews has NOTHING to do with the New Covenant!

Scripture does not support the notion Jews are born. God chose Issac's family from whom he called forth his seed - Christ. But many non relatives were also Jews through circumcision. In Abraham's day, over 300 of his servants and their families were his covenant seed through circumcision. At the time Ishmael was his only blood relative,

Think about it this way. In Romans 11 God removes the physical unbelievers from Israel. The Paul says, for the father's sake, he will graft them back in through faith in Christ. So if faith in Christ grafts them back in, Christ and those who believe in him are Israel.

Nothing about those verses come close to saying that.

Paul was talking here about saved jews would become back to God thru yeshua...NOTHING to do about jews/Gentiles switching what they were!

When Jesus abolished circumcision he excommunicated all unbelieving Jews from membership in Israel. Only those who accepted Christ remained Israel.

No, there was antural and spiritual Israel then, as Paul described in Galatians 4:21-31

He did NOT make natural Jews no longer jews, but he did bring saved gentiles into spiritual israel!
He removed the physical unbelievers from Israel. They became gentiles by default. But God is saving them during the times of the gentiles through faith in Christ, for the father's sake.

Saved jews stay Jewish, as they have the ancestory of the Jews, not Gentiles!
