So because I post up a video with a dude who may or may not deny the Baptist doctrine I myself am somehow not a Baptist? All you have done is attack me, first you made fun of my spelling by saying I couldn't spell life, when I clearly misspelled it on purpose in jest, then you further ridicule me by saying I am not a Baptist all because I post a video that further proves what I said about RICK WARREN... he is NOT A CHRISTIAN, because he flat out claims Jesus is not the only way to God, that again IS BLASPHEMY and I WILL CALL IT OUT!

FYI I do not know enough about that guy Phil Johnson to say much, I did look him up and it looks like he might be a Calvinist, from what I can tell though it appears to me he DOES believe in OSAS.

    PS. NEWS FLASH there ARE Baptists that believe in these two things;
One side believes you can literally forsake God, blaspheme Him, be a Satanist, a Witch, etc etc and still be saved.
The other side believes someone who would do any of those things, like turn their back on God completely and fully was probably never saved to begin with.

Both of these make up VALID Baptist beliefs! as long as both sides believe in OSAS! and they do! I believe in OSAS! God will complete the work in us that He started! I am saved by GRACE and FAITH through and in Jesus Christ and that is it! not by works that I should or anyone else should boast! I cannot add to or take away! I am SEALED by the Holy Spirit! but at the same time, a truly regenerated person would NEVER turn their back on Christ! If I ever did turn my back on Christ then my conversion WAS false! I agree that I will sin, we ALL sin, and if anyone says they don't they are a liar and the truth is NOT in them... but I am not talking about sinning here, I am talking about a man who does not even believe in the Jesus of the Bible!!! If RW had issues with sin in his life okay, but that is not the issue, RW buddies up with the ungodly those who are NOT saved, he does not preach on repentance, salvation, or any of that stuff, all of his mumbo jumbo is watered down garbage!

I am sorry you have some personal vendetta against me, I won't take it personal though, because your issue isn't really with me, it's with God and His Word. If you want to buddy up and support RW and his ungodly teachings go ahead, but I won't!

    I wish I knew honestly...

That is all he has is personal attacks, because he knows I am right, RW needs to get TRULY converted.

Can you read? The quote is from the doctrinal statement of the guy who made the attack video! He believes baptism is necessary for salvation and that a saved person can lose his salvation.|

    Please. Try to keep up.

You posted his blasphemous video to support your false accusations. You posted it. You live with it.

I challenged you to prove your false accusations. So far all you have done is sputter and deflect.

You post a video by a guy who believes in baptismal regeneration and that you can lose your salvation. What you haven't done is post evidence of your false accusations against Rick Warren.

You still have not posted a video of him saying that or quoting where he says that in one of his books. Put up or shut up.

So far all it is is your false accusation. "Thou shalt not bear false witness."

But he did not make the video.

Nope. Baptists don't believe in baptismal regeneration nor the loss of salvation. If you were a baptist you would know that.

LOL! Challenging you to post evidence of your false accusations is not a "personal vendetta."

Still waiting for you to post evidence of your false accusations. And still making false charges, this time against me by claiming I "want to buddy up" with Rick Warren.

Nice try to deflect the issue. Still waiting for you to post evidence of your false charges.

Still waiting for you to post evidence of your false charges.

I don't believe in Baptismal Regeneration either, you keep accusing me of things that I do not believe in because I am RIGHT about RW... don't like it? get over yourself.

I am not going to reply to you, all you want to do is start drama, you are literally acting like a little baby right now.

You will never get me to say RW is something he is not, he is nothing but a WOLF in sheep's clothing.

Also who made you the leader of the Baptists? who gave you the right to decide who is a Baptist and who aint? NOBODY.

PS. For all; me posting a video does not mean I believe or fully agree with the speakers teachings, it just means I agree with what they are saying on the subject matter in the video.

Phil Johnson is not the host, he's one of the guys being interviewed. He's very sound. And his is concerns about RW are warranted and should be addressed.

Once again you make a false accusation. I never said you believed in baptismal regeneration. I said the guy who made the video believed in baptismal regeneration. Please. Try to keep up with the discussion.

For somebody who is not going to reply you sure do reply a lot.

But that is what you keep doing. You make false accusations and when challenged to post evidence of your false accusation you have a meltdown and start name-calling.

    The bible?

Who cares if he speaks in tongues or whatver? I don't care, things like that has nothing to do with whether someone is saved or not. But when it comes to what RW does, by saying there are many ways to God then yea that's a BIG NO - NO!

Listen, I do NOT and will NOT hound on someone for not understanding futuristic prophecy, things like pre, mid, or post trib... we will find out when it happens! or things like the Gifts whether they have ceased or not ceased, but when it comes to things that matter like faith in Christ alone and not works, and Jesus being the ONLY way - not one of many ways like RW teaches, I will say something!

He was responding to Rick Warren's challenge to try Jesus and if He does not provide all He promised, reject Him.

I know and admire Phil but sometimes he goes a little off center with his condemnation of others.

Is Phil suggesting that Jesus might fail to provide all He promised? Jesus never fails. Anyone who tries Jesus will be fully satisfied in Him. There will never be a valid reason to reject Christ.

Still don't see him saying that in a video or a quote from one of his books.

So, what the bible teaches about spiritual gifts is not important? What the bible teaches about spiritual gifts doesn't matter? What other bible teachings do you think don't matter. And if they don't matter why did God put them in the bible?

Did I even say that? what I meant WAS that I am not going to fight over that because it's not an issue of Salvation. Have a wonderful day. :D

I wonder why he changed his belief? Too much pressure? Book sales falling off?

Does it really matter who plays the video clips and asks the questions?
You think the current SBC President is not a Baptist?

Honestly I think he is a false prophet, a wolf in sheep's clothing, I doubt he was ever saved... so I doubt he ever had a true stance on the issue in the video, I think he was just playing both fields so to speak to get money, but eventually people will see through the facade and see that he is a liar and a fraud. There is MANY pastors if you can call them that, that do the exact same thing RW does, they will appeal to the ignorant Christians, while appealing to the world. They will do that by giving milk not meat to the Christians, and go out and make silly statements or not preach the full Gospel, kind of like Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, Jesse Duplantis, and mega preachers like him.

The problem is that you seem to think your interpretation of Scripture is the only correct one. You might be correct, but there are equally qualified theologians who disagree with you. Just because someone does not accept your interpretation of Scripture, does not mean they reject Scripture.

Agreed, my husband believes in tongues, and I know for a FACT he IS saved! I will NEVER judge him for something like that, but when it comes to false prophets like RW I WILL say something!

At least Creflo and Jesse are clear and uncompromising on The Gospel. I can fault them for a lot, but they are clear on The Gospel.

I meant where they teach Word of Faith stuff like Kenneth Copeland that Christ died spirituality, He went to hell and burned and was tortured, and that we are little "gods" meaning we can call things into existence, etc etc.
