“Seasoned” church goers. So who was the audience? Young kids? teens? young adults? or seasoned church goers?
Answers could get quite involved.

I would get up and walk out. I have done it several times in my life. I don't respond to closed end questions. (Learned that in interrogation training)How would you answer the following questions ask by the teacher:
How many of you believe in God?
How many of you believe God should control all He created?
How many of you believe God controls you?
How many of you believe in God?
How many of you believe God should control all He created?
How many of you believe God controls you?
How would you answer the following questions ask by the teacher:
Hand raised, Genesis 1:1, Hebrews 11:6.How many of you believe in God?
Hand raised, Isaiah 46:9-11, Psalm 135:6.How many of you believe God should control all He created?
Hand raised, Genesis 50:19-20, Ephesians 1:11.How many of you believe God controls you?
Here is how the class responded.
How would you answer the following questions ask by the teacher:
How many of you believe in God?
All raised their hands.
How many of you believe God should control all He created?
Some raised hands
How many of you believe God controls you?
None but two raised their hands.
The two stated the responded,
The others were not ask why they didn’t raise their hands.
I’d like get insight into the thinking of the “why” of some of the posters.
I am not seeking to condemn, but by asking you, so that it will perhaps give some insight into the thinking of some in the class.
The group is used to a lecture style teaching rather than discussion style, so by them responding more than raising hands would be problematic.
Those who didn’t respond, please chime in with your own thoughts on the “why.”
This is information gathering thread, not meant for arguments.

The usual - you are too ignorant to understand ad hominem??It is most likely not understanding God's complete control in His works of providence..
Going over the providence of God in scripture would supply a proper worldview.
Hank? The usual - you are too ignorant to understand ad hominem??
Oh pardon my ignorance.Hank?
What are you saying ?
I did not speak of any person, I said a study of God's providence would help!
?????Oh pardon my ignorance.
