Iran warns ‘it’s ready for war’

"IRAN says it's "ready for war" after shooting down a US "spy" drone today as tensions continue to rise in the Persian Gulf.

The Islamic Republic's state-run IRNA news agency has insisted the country's Revolutionary Guard hit the drone when it flew over Iran in a "clear message" to Washington.

But in a shocking twist it was claimed the image Iran used to make the claim is fake - and actually shows a drone being shot down over Yemen two years ago."

So just bomb them to hell.... scorched earth. The only thing I dislike is it will cost us money. Perhaps we can get the Israeli to help defray the costs. Burn them to the ground and send the Syrians in. Or sell it to the Saudis and defray the costs. Paybacks for the Carter days.

Comments like this make me embarrassed for our country. Are we so sure that we have the moral high ground here?

I assume you totally believe our government narrative. Even after our earlier supposed proof of Iranian attack on our ship was shown to be quite flimsy.

I do not agree with his comment. I find it should never be said. However, we do have the moral high ground.

No it wasnt shown to be flimsy. Yes I believe it.

If we actually do go to war over this (And I pray we don't) it will not be the first time we entered into a conflict on the basis of dubious "provocation". Earlier examples are the Maine explosion and the Bay of Tonkin incident, both proven afterward to have been bogus evidences.

But, hey, we have this military complex, this huge ever-hungry Moloch that we have to feed.

Iran has a long history of conflict with the US of A, bloodshed... etc...

War is hell, war is ugly, unfortunately, a necessary evil (or so it seems).

We think it is necessary because we are brainwashed to think that every problem, real or imagined, has a military solution.

US has a long history of conflict with ... just spin a globe.

Strawman no one is talking about wanting to go to war. Trump is working on bringing troops home as it is.

I believe Trump over Iran. Why would you believe anything those terrorists say?

Iran is a cancer. I opposed the war in Iraq, but the world would be a better place if a few nukes were popped on Iran.

There is no nation on earth without conflict.
No, its not brainwashing, its called survival (or dog eat dog).

We speak English, not German or Japanese.
No more Swastikas.

Like it it or not its what we do.
America has no monopoly on war for war's sake.

We are a very young nation on planet earth.

It may be a naivete but it's true. There can be no peace without the Prince of Peace.

53And they did not receive Him, because His face was as though He would go to Jerusalem. 54And when His disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, Lord, wilt Thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did? 55But He turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of Spirit ye are of; 56For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

This is just like the Nazi's thinking; dehumanize the enemy first of all. Do you not know that there are many Christians in that country? But that probably isn't on Fox News.

There is a middle ground here. The United States has the right to conduct surveillance operations in international waters. Those operations should continue if not increase. If the Trump administration shows restraint that will work to it's advantage. If Iran conducts another attack, either against international shipping or U.S. military assets, U.S. naval forces can retaliate against Iranian radar and missle sites. That would be an appropriate and measured response. The ball will then be in Tehran's court. If Tehran decides to escalate the conflict the U.S. can take out Iranian airfields as well as strike suspected Iranian nuclear research facilities. There is no need to attack civilian population areas.

We have the Prince of Peace now. You just don't believe it. Christ did not say "All power will be given unto Me." Neither does the Bible say "Of His kingdom - when it finally comes - there will be no end."

Parousia means Christ is with us now. We need to act like it and put down our swords, acting like we are still Old Testament Israelites.

I thank God I am a preterist, no longer a futurist.
