    Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

    “And prevailed not” – The Son of God won, the son of perdition lost, see also 1 Sam. 2:9, 17:50; 2 Sam. 32:12; 1 Chr. 29:11; 2 Chr. 14:11; Psa. 9:19, 12:4, 13:4-5, 98:1-3, 129:2; Ecc. 4:12; Son. 8:7; Isa. 42:13; Jer. 1:19, 5:22, 15:20, 20:11; Mat. 16:15-18; Act. 19:20; 1 Cor. 15:57; Col. 2:15; 1 Jhn. 4:4, 5:4; Rev. 3:21, 5:5.

    “neither was their place found any more in heaven” – All their ‘offices’ became vacant (Jud. 1:6), and ready to receive new ministers, the redeemed of God, the new light-bearers; see Psa. 24:3-4, 37:10; Eze. 28:19; Dan. 2:35, 12:1; Mat. 11:23, 23:12; Luk. 1:52, 10:15, 14:11, 18:14; Jhn. 14:1-3; Eph. 4:27; Rev. 20:11,15.

    Verse 9:

    Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

    upload_2019-8-18_23-10-37.png

    What sound does the serpent make?

    upload_2019-8-18_23-10-51.png

    “… iffffffffffffff …”

    - Mat. 4:3,6, 27:40,43; Luk. 4:3,9.

    •The devil implies …

    •If we’re really a ‘son of God’, then surely we have the power to make something the word of God (bread) which was not the word of God (stone), right?

    •If we’re really a ‘son of God’, then surely we can seek to place ourselves in the highest position in the Church without coming to injury, right?

    •If we’re really a ‘son of God’, then surely we should claim all the things of this world without permission from the Father, and divert a little bit of worship from Him to someone or something else, right?

    •Let us turn unto God, as one who repents of the ways of the serpent.

    •“And the great dragon was cast out” – The ‘scorner’ was ‘cast out’ of the Heavenly temple for being a ‘money changer’ (Eze. 28:5,16,18), see Gen. 21:10; Lev. 20:23; Deut. 6:19; Pro. 22:10; Jer. 7:15; Zep. 3:15; Zec. 1:21; Mat. 5:13, 8:12,16, 9:33, 10:8, 12:26-28, 21:12; Mar. 1:34,39, 3:15,23, 6:13, 9:38, 11:15, 16:17; Luk. 9:49, 11:14,18-20,32, 19:45; Jhn. 6:37; Gal. 4:30.

    •“that old” – Ancient, and part of the ‘old creation’, and thus will pass away, not being part of the New Creation, not found in Christ Jesus; see Gen. 3:1; Psa. 102:26; Isa. 51:6; 2 Cor. 5:17; Heb. 1:11; 2 Pet. 2:5; Rev. 20:2.

    •“serpent” – Venomous and subtil beast, the devil; Gen. 3:1-2,4,13,14; Psa. 58:4, 140:3; Pro. 23:32; Ecc. 10:11; Isa. 27:1; Mic. 7:17; Luk. 11:11,13; 2 Cor. 11:3; Rev. 12:14-15, 20:2.

    •“called the Devil” – Named (character, “as his name is, so is he”; 1 Sam. 25:25) “Slanderer”, “false accuser” (devil); see 1 Jhn. 3:8,10; 1 Tim. 3:11; 2 Tim. 3:3; Tit. 2:3.

    •“and Satan” – Named “adversary” (H7853,H7854; G4566,G4567), “accusing”; see 2 Sam. 19:22; 1 Ki. 5:4, 11:14,23,25; 1 Chr. 21:1; Job. 1:6-12, 2:1-7; Psa. 38:20, 71:13, 109:4,6,20,29; Dan. 10:13,20-21; Zec. 3:1-2; Jud. 1:9; see also Ezr. 4:6, and see also Rom. 16:20.

    •“which deceiveth” – Seducing through error, going throughout with intent, wander or lead out of “the way” (Jhn. 14:6) by another “way” (my way, as at tower of Babel), leading away from the word of God, for first the serpent deceived the woman (a church), that he through her might lead astray all humanity (Adam), and only those who have a love of the truth (2 Thes. 2:10) as it is in Christ Jesus would not be deceived, see Gen. 31:7; Lev. 6:2; Deut. 11:16; 2 Ki. 21:9; Job. 15:31; Pro. 20:1; Isa. 19:13, 44:20; Jer. 49:6; Lam. 1:19; Eze. 13:10, 14:9; Oba. 1:3,7; Mat. 22:29, 24:24; Mar. 12:24,27; Luk. 21:8; Jhn. 7:47; Rom. 7:11; 1 Cor. 6:9,15:33; Gal. 6:7; 1 Tim. 2:14; 2 Tim. 3:13; Tit. 3:3; Heb. 3:10; Jam. 1:6, 5:19; 1 Pet. 2:25; 2 Pet. 2:15; 1 Jhn. 2:26; Rev. 2:20, 13:14, 18:23, 19:20, 20:10.

    •“the whole world” – As in Adam all die (1 Cor. 15:22), through sin (Rom. 5:12), thus the whole world was deceived when Adam was led astray by the woman, being used by the serpent (beast), for before Adam had “dominion” (Gen. 1:26,28) over the beasts, but then through “lust” (2 Pet. 1:4), the serpent gained “dominion” over Adam (Gen. 4:7), and all born after the flesh; and though the serpent ‘gained the whole world’, he had already lost his soul, and though Adam sought to gain even the one thing he was not to have, the tree forbidden, he too came under the same condemnation; see also Mat. 16:26; Mar. 8:36; Luk. 9:25; 1 Jhn. 5:19; Rev. 16:14.

    •“he was cast out into the earth” – Perfect Love (God) “cast out” the spirit of fear (1 Jhn. 4:18), Lucifer, once an exalted angel in Heaven, fell by transgression (Act. 1:25) of pride (I will), going from next to Christ Jesus in honour as the “anointed cherub that covereth” (Eze. 28:14), to becoming as low as the dust of the earth, and to eat thereof (Gen. 3:14; Isa. 65:25; Mic. 7:17), and yet God shows that He can take of the dust (humble, humility, submitted) of the earth (Adam), when filled by His Holy Spirit (thy Will), and exalt them to the highest place (Jhn. 14:1-3), next to Christ Jesus upon His throne (Rev. 3:21), see Luk. 10:18; 2 Pet. 2:4. See also notes on “And the great Dragon was cast out”.

    “and his angels were cast out with him” – As the ‘head’ (Lucifer) became infected with sin (white spot (Lev. 13:2) of flesh (carnal); Jud. 1:23) and darkness, his whole ‘body’ became full of darkness (Mat. 6:22-23; Luk. 11:33-36), and thus being leprous and contagious, had to be removed, even ‘cut off’ (Exo. 12:19; Lev. 7:21,25, 22:3; Deut. 23:1 (1 Cor. 15:46); Jos. 3:16; 1 Ki. 9:7; 2 Chr. 32:21; Zec. 11:16; Mal. 2:12; Mat. 5:29-30, 18:7-9; Mar. 9:43-48; Rom. 11:22, 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 6:15, 12:12,18,20; Gal. 5:12), from the ‘camp of the saints’ (New Jerusalem; Rev. 20:9; Lev. 13:46), and placed in the ‘wilderness’ (Lev. 13:1-59, 14:1-57; Num. 12:10-16), for “seven days”. Beware that the ‘light” in us is really “light” and not “darkness” pretending to be ‘light’, which is ‘lie-ght’.

    upload_2019-8-18_23-27-41.png

    2Ti_1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

    1Jn_4:18 There is no fear in love [God]; but perfect love [God] casteth out fear [Satan's spirit]: because fear hath torment. He that feareth [as Satan does in his doubt] is not made perfect in love [God].

    Verse 10:

    Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

    –Mar. 15:37 And Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost.

    Satan is not an angel, but a CHERUB. The cherubim are the highest created beings, along with the seraphim. And it seems Satan was the chief cherub til he sinned. So Satan is the strongest created being. And Michael, the strongest angel, could not have overcome him without special empowerment from God.

    The word "angel" simply means 'messenger' or 'ambassador', 'one sent with a message', and so Lucifer being in said position, as Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28, etc portray, makes him an 'archangel' as Jude 1:6 also relates, having abandoned his arch office., see also Rev. 9:11, the 'angel' of the bottomless pit, ultimately Satan, though not only, and see also 2 Corinthians 11:4 and 1 Corinthians 6:3, for even satan himself shall be judged by the saints. 2 Peter 2:4 refers to Lucifer's own fall.

    I don't really have any quarrel with that.

    He was indeed the highest created being, according to the texts already cited. True.

    Agreed.

    That is nowhere in scripture. If you refer to Daniel, it states the reverse, in that it was Gabriel who needed the assistance from Michael (Uncreated angel of the LORD (Father), Son of God) to overcome the devil (Daniel 10:13). In Daniel 11:1, it is chiastically sealed in that Gabriel stood to confirm and strengthen Darius the Mede ("him").

    [A1] Also I (Gabriel; chapter 10)
    [B1] in the first year
    [C1] of Darius the Mede
    [A2] even I (Gabriel, chapter 10)
    [B2] stood to confirm and strenthen him [Darius the Mede]
    [C2] (implied) {in the first year; Daniel 6:1, 9:1}

    satan is a fallen angel. A cherubim . And the cherubim are not the highest created beings . The Word created Wisdom before all else.Lucifer was cast out of heaven for his rejection of Wisdom. All creation was finished off with wisdom. he being full of himself because of his beauty , rebelled. And scripture reveals that he was adorned in wisdom PRIOR to his rebellion.

    Wisdom was given more authority than any other creature and is the Lord's right hand lady. She is why Eve (Woman)was created. She is apportioned to man according to his gifts. I am going to blow up the alofa atu leaven and when I am done you will see how you too have had wisdom removed from you.
    Sirach 1:4 4 Wisdom was created before all other things, and prudent understanding from eternity.

    I know , I know the Protestants do not acknowledge Sirach , Blah , Blah ,Blah. It is reiterated in Proverbs
    Proverbs 8:
    22The LORD created me as His first course,

    before His works of old.

    23From everlasting I was established,

    from the beginning, before the earth began.

    24When there were no watery depths, I was brought forth,

    when no springs were overflowing with water.

    25Before the mountains were settled,

    before the hills, I was brought forth,

    26before He made the land or fields,

    or any of the dust of the earth.

    27I was there when He established the heavens,

    when He inscribed the horizon on the face of the deep,

    28when He established the clouds above,

    when the fountains of the deep gushed forth,

    29when He set a boundary for the sea,

    so that the waters would not surpass His command,

    when He marked out the foundations of the earth.

    30Then I was a skilled craftsman at His side,

    and His delight day by day,

    rejoicing always in His presence.

    31I was rejoicing in His whole world,

    delighting together in the sons of men.

    32Now therefore, my sons, listen to me,

    for blessed are those who keep my ways.

    33Listen to instruction and be wise;

    do not ignore it.

    34Blessed is the man who listens to me,

    watching daily at my doors,

    waiting at the posts of my doorway.

    35For whoever finds me finds life

    and obtains the favor of the LORD;

    36but he who fails to find me harms himself;

    all who hate me love death.”
    Sirach is saying the same thing as in Proverbs.
    From Sirach Chp1
    God’s Gift of Wisdom*
    1All wisdom* is from the Lord

    and remains with him forever.a

    2The sands of the sea, the drops of rain,

    the days of eternity—who can count them?

    3Heaven’s height, earth’s extent,

    the abyss and wisdom—who can explore them?

    4Before all other things wisdom was created;

    and prudent understanding, from eternity.

    6The root of wisdom—to whom has it been revealed?

    Her subtleties—who knows them? b

    8* There is but one, wise and truly awesome,

    seated upon his throne—the Lord.

    9It is he who created her,

    saw her and measured her,c

    Poured her forth upon all his works,

    10upon every living thing according to his bounty,

    lavished her upon those who love him.

    •“And the dragon was wroth with” – Satan is angry without a true cause, because the character of Christ Jesus reveals to himself that he is in the wrong, and so he persecutes; see Gen. 4:8,25; Mat. 5:22; 1 Jhn. 3:12.

    •“the woman” – God’s people ((OT) Israel or (NT) Christians), flock, church, a body, bone of the man’s (Adam; Gen. 2:23; 1 Cor. 15:44-46) bone and flesh of His flesh, and the city (Mat. 12:10-11) in which they reside (New Jerusalem); see Jer. 6:2; Isa. 54:5, 61:10, 62:5 ; Act. 7:38; 1 Cor. 6:17; 2 Cor. 11:2; Gal. 4:26; Eph. 5:23-32; Rev. 19:7, 21:2-3,9; see also Jesus as the “bridegroom” – Mat. 9:15, 25:1,5-6,10; Mar. 2:19-20; Luk. 5:34-35; Jhn. 2:9, 3:29; Rev. 18:23; Jer. 7:34, 16:9, 25:10, 33:11; Joe. 2:16 and Song of Solomon (entire); see also (unfaithful) Jer. 3:14,20; Hos. 1:2, 2:2, etc.

    •“and went to make war with” – The Great Controversy comes to a climax, see Dan. 9:26, 11:33-35,40-45; Luk. 14:31; Rev. 9:7,9, 13:7, 16:14,16, 19:18-19.

    No. The scriptures says, that God always had Wisdom:

    Pro 8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

    The text of Proverbs 8, in its entire context, says nothing about Wisdom being created. Wisdom is just another designation n scripture for the Son of God (in this case feminine type, in relation to the Father).

    This does not make the Son of God literally a woman, but illustrates the submissive character of relationship of Son to that of the Father, wherein the Son always honours the Father's will [Exodus 20:12; Malachi 1:6 KJB], and thus is paralleled in 2 Samuel 12:3 KJB with the words, “was unto him as a daughter”, for Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father is “wisdom”:

    1 Corinthians 1:24 KJB - But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

    1 Corinthians 1:30 KJB - But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

    Luke 11:49 KJB - Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

    For Luke 11:49 KJB, see also Jeremiah 7:25, 25:4, 26:5, 29:19, 35:15, 44:4 KJB:

    Proverbs 3:19 KJB - The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

    Psalms 104:24 KJB - O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

    Psalms 136:5 KJB - To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    Isaiah 45:12 KJB - I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

    Jeremiah 10:12 KJB - He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.

    Jeremiah 51:15 KJB - He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

    Job 12:9 KJB - Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

    Job 12:12 KJB - With the ancient [is] wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

    Job 12:13 KJB - With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

    Job 12:16 KJB - With him [is] strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver [are] his.

    Colossians 2:1 KJB - For I would that ye knew what great conflict I have for you, and [for] them at Laodicea, and [for] as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;

    Colossians 2:2 KJB - That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

    Colossians 2:3 KJB - In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
    Please do not wrest Proverbs 8, and turn the Uncreated into created, for that follows the path of the Arian, and WTS/JW.

    I hope you are not saying that the (Earth) is all those who returned evil for evil and killed 100,000's of Catholics as pay back for what Catholic hierarchy did? If so then you are more thatched then I first thought. That is not how that is going to work. And I will add, this has not happened yet, The earth helping the Woman. That will happen during the sixth seal-what has become known as the 3 Days of darkness. The sixth seal hasn't happened yet . The Great earthquake and all involved with the sixth seal will remove and kill many evil people. Then the birds of the air will be called to feast on their dead bodies. The sixth seal is part of the "Shortening" of the Days of the Tribulation for the elect. Carry on!

    Again, No. With the Father, in Eternity, was Wisdom:

    "possessed [me]" - Proverbs 8:22 KJB, H7069

    קנה ; qânâh

    Total KJB Occurrences: 86

    buy, 24

    bought, 21

    get, 9

    purchased, 5

    buyer, 3

    getteth, 3

    got, 3

    possessed, 3

    buyest, 2

    possessor, 2

    attain, 1

    cattle, 1

    getting, 1

    gotten, 1

    jealousy, 1

    keep, 1

    owner, 1

    possessors, 1

    recover, 1

    redeemed, 1

    verily, 1

    The subject, “me”, of that which is “possessed” of “the LORD” is “wisdom” [Proverbs 8:1,11,12,14 KJB].

    Proverbs 3:19 KJB - The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.

    The text of Proverbs 3:19 KJB, is in perfect parallel with Proverbs 8:22,30 KJB, in that the Father “by Jesus” made all things:

    1 Corinthians 8:6 KJB - But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

    2 Corinthians 5:8 KJB - And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

    Ephesians 3:9 KJB - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

    John 1:1 KJB - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    John 1:2 KJB - The same was in the beginning with God.

    John 1:3 KJB - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    John 1:10 KJB - He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

    Hebrews 1:1 KJB - God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    Hebrews 1:2 KJB - Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

    Hebrews 1:3 KJB - Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

    Colossians 1:15 KJB - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

    Colossians 1:16 KJB - For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

    Colossians 1:17 KJB - And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

    Colossians 1:18 KJB - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

    Colossians 1:19 KJB - For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

    The context of Proverbs 8 KJB eliminates the meanings/uses of “buy”, “bought”, “get”, “purchased”, “buyer”, “getteth”, “got”, “buyest”, “attain”, “cattle” [property], “getting” [obtain, possess], “gotten” [obtained, received [a birth, Cain from Eve]], “jealousy”, “recover” [buy/purchase back at cost to oneself], “redeemed” [buy/purchase back at cost to oneself], “verily [buy]” [truly purchase at dear sacrificial cost], since the words “in the beginning of his way” [Proverbs 8:22 KJB], “I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning” [Proverbs 8:23 KJB], “I was there” [Proverbs 8:27 KJB], “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;” [Proverbs 8:30 KJB], except it be connected to the redemption plan as it is in Christ Jesus, or to the effect that the Father exchanged words with the Son, and the Son believed the Father, or an interchange, exchange of ideas [like as merchandising], the Father sharing His will with the Son, and the Son rejoicing in that will.

    The context of Proverbs 8 KJB thus helps us to know that the phrase “possessed me” carries with it the meanings of “possessor”, “possessors”, which is to intimately know through and through [such as the word “possession” is understood, such that the Holy Ghost/Spirit should possess the whole heart, lest devils occupy/possess it], or to completely occupy or dwell in fully [such as to “possess” the land/earth, and the heart is the like unto the soil], to be LORD or Master of [such as a Father unto a Son], to own [to belong to someone's person], to have all or the whole entirety of something such as the whole mind/heart/spirit, for instance:

    Psalms 139:13 KJB - For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

    Joshua 21:43 KJB - And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

    Jeremiah 32:23 - And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:

    John 14:10 KJB - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

    John 14:11 KJB - Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

    The context of Proverbs 8 KJB thus helps us to know that the phrase “possessed me” carries with it the meanings of “keep” [raise cattle, like as to raise a sheep, like as a Lamb, the Lamb of God in the Father's care], “owner” [one who has a purchased possession, such as a cow or Lamb]. The image then is of a tender compassionate Father caring for His Son, holding the Son in His arms, close to His bosom [as Jesus had done with John], cherishing the relationship as Father to Son:

    Genesis 22:8 KJB - And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

    John 1:29 KJB - The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

    John 1:36 KJB - And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

    1 Peter 1:19 KJB - But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

    2 Samuel 12:3 KJB - But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.

    Proverbs 8:22-31 CJB
    22 "ADONAI made me as the beginning of his way, the first of his ancient works. 23 I was appointed before the world, before the start, before the earth's beginnings. 24 When I was brought forth, there were no ocean depths, no springs brimming with water. 25 I was brought forth before the hills, before the mountains had settled in place; 26 he had not yet made the earth, the fields, or even the earth's first grains of dust. 27 When he established the heavens, I was there. When he drew the horizon's circle on the deep, 28 when he set the skies above in place, when the fountains of the deep poured forth, 29 when he prescribed boundaries for the sea, so that its water would not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth, 30 I was with him as someone he could trust. For me, every day was pure delight, as I played in his presence all the time,. 31 playing everywhere on his earth, and delighting to be with humankind.
