Some little children who are not of an age to believe and follow God's word die.

". . . And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. . . ." -- Revelation 20:15.

I believe their names remain in that book.

". . . If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. . . ." -- John 15:6.

I believe they remain in the vine.

". . . the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. . . ." -- 1 John 2:2.

Is the reason names and persons start out in the book and in the vine.

". . . Allow the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. . . ." -- Mark 10:14-15.

". . . Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? . . ." -- John 3:3-4.

". . . Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. . . ." -- Mark 10:15.

Salvation can only be had as a gift.

    ". . . the simplicity that is in Christ. . . ." -- 2 Corinthians 11:3.

". . . All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. . . ." -- Matthew 11:27-10.

". . . Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.. . ." -- John 6:47.

". . . the gospel . . . For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . ." -- 1 Corinthians 15;3-4.

I have never heard this before. You believe everyone begins with their name written in the Book of Life. At some point, an age of accountability?, the person's name is removed from the Book of Life, and then is written back into the Book of Life if they believe in Christ. Is that what you are saying?

I believe, generally, that babies and young children go to heaven if they die, based on David's experience with the child by Bathseba (As Uriah's wife)

It would seem to me that God could simply write their names in the Book of Life if they died in early childhood. That way, you don't have God making corrections to the Book of Life.

    Peace to you

The Bible nowhere teaches any such thing. There is a promise to the saved of never having their names blotted out, 1 John 5:4: Revelation 3:5.
