A major Palestinian militant group promised Wednesday it would fire no more rockets at Israelis during Israel's planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, after a barrage inadvertently killed a 5-year-old Palestinian boy.The group has attacked Israeli targets repeatedly throughout a six-month truce between Israel and the Palestinians, saying it was acting to avenge Israeli violations.

Israelis opposed to the disengagement.

Hamas has already said they have 10,000 armed and ready to take over the Gaza Strip as soon as the Israelis pull out. Hamas is on the US State Department as a terrorist organization. Hamas will align with al Qaeda (they are already aligned in ideology) and will have another strong front from which to launch attacks into Israel and Europe.

I, like Enoch, stand firm with the protesters against the so-called Road Map - rewarding terrorism by giving up possession of land.

Ain't nobody gonna give us to nobody else cause we ain't owned by nobody in the first place.

If the U.S. does try givin' us to somebody, we might just get mad and attack the States. And, somehow I figure that our Southern brothers would be there with us as well.

And, this "civil war" would turn out a heck of a lot differently than the last one.

This situation seems so obvious. Surely, there must be much more going on behind the scenes than we know. The one thing we do know is that God will not abandon Israel and she will not be defeated!

Christ is not waiting on pins and needles for some day to come when he can return and set up a 1,000 year kingdom on this sinful rock we call earth.

He is already reigning in his Kingdom from on High and within each and every one of his regenerate children. We are the children of Israel and he will never leave us, nor forsake us. These same can not be said for those not of God's fold who are physically living in the State known as Israel. We do not inherit the Kingdom by the blood of our fathers, but rather by the blood of our Brother, our Savior Jesus Christ.

I don't care what the boundaries were before the 6 days war. Afterward Israel had the Gaza Strip, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights. Why would you allow that it's all right to bargain that away KenH.

Conquering land doesn't mean that a nation must hold on to it forever. For instance, we gave up the Philippines.

But the Philippines weren't blowing up our citizens.

I certainly don't expect the Israelis to give up land without a quid pro quo on the part of the Palestinians, namely the cessation of terrorism against Israeli citizens.

Of course, Israel is a sovereign nation and if its leaders decide to give back land without such a quid pro quo that is their decision to make. I just hope it can be done peacefully by both sides.
