Particular: Enlighten us.
The first great awakening saw 3/4 of the colonists come to faith and walk in faith afterwards. Pastors around the colonies discipled these new believers.
You are of course referring to my point that no Baptist revival rivals the mass conversions at Medjugorje. OK, I'll grant your request for enlightenment by pointing out to you:
(1) that central figures in the First Great Awakening were George Whitefield (an Anglican) and Jonathan Edwards a Congregationaalist;
(2) that this Awakening blossomed under Congregationalists, Presbyterians, Dutch Reformed, and, yes, some Baptists, but was NOT primarily a Baptist Awakening.
Who is tracking the faith of these people and their perseverance in the faith? Who is discipling them.
I realize that few Baptists watch videos not approved by the Baptist theological Ghetto, but do trouble yourself to actually watch the posted video on Medjugorje, so that you can discover what we are actually discussing and do google the various testimonial sites on Medjugorje conversions.
