And if Floyd was white - I doubt it would have made the national news that it did.

White guilt? Not me. I don't believe in it. I've not done anything to deserve any racial guilt on my back.

So even if he were white - you would STILL judge him and his family as lost and going to hell because of the speaker at the funeral?

Where is the discussion about race relations? In 18 years of being on the Baptist Board, I've never seen one and you have not presented one.

You have present three separate threads about George Floyd's family going to hell, absent Black fathers, and how black people glorify sin.

Where the "relationship" discussion in those three threads you started complaining about black people?

I'd really like to see a race relation discussion here.

Yes, he is. He has NEVER apologized for his role in the Duke Lacross team accusations.. He knew he was wrong!

    I can't judge his salvation.

I've been a Baptist all my life, and Sharpton doesn't represent any Baptist theology that I know of.

Indeed you have. I see Christ writing in the sand. I expect you will be ashamed.

I am not. Jesus did not instruct us to forsake inspection of fruit. Your example is pointless to this situation because it was about trapping Him. It was not a legitimate execution that sought justice. She was "caught in the very act." The man was not there to be stoned. It was a kangaroo trial staged to put Jesus in a trap.

God can forgive sin. The law of Moses doesn't hog-tie God. Jesus did not condemn the woman.

Now, please repent of your sin of racism.

John 8:2-11 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”]]

And yet so many who are appalled at the idea that Catholics on this forum might have placed their faith and trust in Jesus shed blood on the cross for the remission of their sins and state that Catholics are not 'true' Christians rush to say no one should judge these peoples hearts. in the thread that salty posted on Church closings I was labeled depraved and unsaved for being a Catholic. as has been said here, only Jesus knows the status of my salvation.

I stand behind what I said. But I’ll rejoice with them if I’m wrong!

The parallel is the same. You should be ashamed rather than arrogant.

So by definition it sounds like this man is not biblically qualified to be a Pastor, period.

Are the Floyd’s taking God’s name in vain?

Thats not what I was thinking - but I suppose you are right. Then again - he is not a pastor.

My big issue is that he was ordained at age 9.

That's right. St. Augustine wrote all about his life previous to finding Christ - and it wasn't pretty. In the case of Mr. Floyd his death has become political and that is why I think we should know everything about him.
