JESUITS - "the most cruel, unscrupulous, and powerful of all the champions of popery"

This thread is about all things JESUITS. Their Origins. Their Leader/s. Their Crimes. Their Banning. Their Reinstatement. Their Mission. Their Theology. The Methods. Their Deceptions. Their Plots. Their Unscrupulosity. Their Evil effects. Their Wars. ...and if possible by the grace of Jesus Christ, their individual and personal redemption from all of it, for without such, they are eternally lost, and finally to be taken and destroyed.

    What are the Jesuits?

The Jesuits are a military prelature directly under the Pope, and the Jesuit Superior General, aka the 'Black' Pope, currently "Arturo Sosa", and the previous was Adolfo Nicolas, the previous being Peter Hans Kolvenbach, etc - Superior General of the Society of Jesus - Wikipedia

"The Society of Jesus is a religious order founded by Saint Ignatius Loyola. Designated by him "The Company of Jesus" to indicate its true leader and its soldier spirit, the title was Latinized into "Societas Jesu" in the Bull of Paul III approving its formation and the first formula of its Institute ("Regimini militantis ecclesia", 27 Sept., 1540).

... The name "Societas Jesu" had been born by a military order approved and recommended by Pius II in 1450 ...

... As the object of the society was the propagation and strengthening of the Catholic Faith everywhere, the Jesuits naturally endeavored to counteract the spread of Protestanism. They became the main instruments of the Counter-Reformation; the re-conquest of southern and western Germany and Austria for the Church, and the preservation of the Catholic faith in France and other countries were due chiefly to their exertions. ...

... The professed are all priests, who make, besides the three usual solemn vows of religion, a fourth, of special obedience to the pope in the matter of missions, undertaking to go wherever they are sent, without even requiring money for the journey. ..." - Roman Catholic Online Encyclopedia, section S, "the Society of Jesus" - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: The Jesuits (The Society of Jesus)

    They are called:

"... [the Jesuits are the] advance guard of the Church ..." - Roman Catholic Online Encyclopedia, section S, "the Society of Jesus" - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: The Counter-Reformation

"“God’s Marines” called to serve ... The members are called Jesuits, and are also known colloquially as “God’s Marines” and as “The Company,” these being references to founder Ignatius of Loyola’s military background ... " - About Our Jesuits - Ignatius House Retreat

"... They have sometimes been known as "God's soldiers," after being founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1534. ..." - Poverty And Chastity For Every Occasion

"... "Jesuits are called 'God's Marines' for a reason. They are the Special Forces of the Catholic Church." ..." [as quoted by an ex-marine, so when he says, "Special Forces", it means militarily.] - Arts and Sciences Magazine

They are also called the "Storm Troopers" and "Shock Troopers" of the Papal See.

"... The Society of Jesus had been organized by Ignatius Loyola in 1534. They have been characterized by Father Lucas as the "shock troops of the Counter-Reformation". ..." - http://75.103.82.40/pdf/Recreating-Chapel.pdf

The Jesuit Initiates are said to have to obey the Pope "like a corpse",

"... perinde ac cadaver, "like a corpse" ..." - Roman Catholic Online Encyclopedia, section S, Society of Jesus, History of the (Before 1773) - CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Pre-1773 History of the Jesuits

"... the renunciation of their will, and the abnegation of their judgment ..."

"...32. According to the Constitutions, “the entire purport of this fourth vow of obedience to the pope was and is with regard to missions… for having the members dispersed throughout the various parts of the world”.50 This is the matter of the vow. But the Constitutions also invite us to distinguish ourselves in obediencenot only in the matters of obligation but also in others even though nothing else be perceived except an indication of the superior’s will without an expressed command”.51 This is thoroughly congruent with Ignatius’s ideal of obedience, which holds “that obedience is imperfect in which there does not exist, in addition to the execution, agreement in willing and judging between him who commands and him who obeys”.52 ..." - http://www.sjweb.info/35/documents/Decrees.pdf

"... The thirteenth, finally, that we may be altogether of the same mind and in conformity with the Church herself, if she shall have defined anything to be black which to our eyes appears to be white, we ought in like manner to pronounce it to be white. [Autograph, The thirteenth: that we may in all things attain the truth (that we may not err in anything), we ought ever to hold it (as a fixed principle), that what I see white, I believe to be black, if the Hierarchical Church so define it (to be);]] ..." - The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, [PDF page 229] page 180, translated from the Authorised Latin; with Extracts from the Literal Version and Notes of the Rev. Father Rothaan. Father-General of the Company of Jesus; by Charles Seager, M.A.: to which is prefixed A Preface by the Right Rev. Nicholas Wiseman, D.D., Bishop of Melipotamus, and Coadjutor of the Midland District of England. London: Charles Dolman, 61 New Bond-Street. MDCCCXLVII. To begin with, one might start with Bishop Ussher's "Answer to a Jesuit":

I hear SDA trash talk Jesuits and Catholics all the time. This thread is proof.

SDA always resort to Spiritual Terrorism and witch hunts.

Never heard a Jesuit say one bad thing about SDAs.

Jesuits are just brainy nerd priests.

Hi utilyan. This thread is about the real historical Jesuits, and their current Machiavellian 'descendants'. Now if you want to defend this "brood of vipers", that will of course be your prerogative, but I do not really recommend doing that.

The sources cited in the OP, are primarily sources directly from Catholicism. So, you might want to take a good look at those first, before complaining about "SDA" "trash talk". I didn't originate those quotations. I am just being as accurate as possible.

    As for instance:

The Mysticism of Ignatius Loyola; Brian O' Leary, SJ Consultant in Ignatian Spirituality, Dublin Ireland. pg 85,87,88,96

*"The sources for the suspicion that fell on Ignatius were many. ...[pg 85]

[pg 87] ...The suspicions of alumbradismo [Spanish Illuminati] that fell on Ignatius Loyola personally from the 1520's were extended over the years to the book of the Spiritual Exercises and eventually to the Society of Jesus itself. One of the most prominent and able early critics of what we now call Ignatian spirituality was the Dominican theologian, Melchor Cano. He was implacably hostile to the alumbrados and associated Ignatius with them. Between 1556 and 1558 Cano wrote a number of letters in which he affirmed that the Society was a heretical force whose Exercises were undermining Church and State. ... A document discovered in the British Library in 1977 and attributed to Cano is almost certainly the work in question. It is known by the first word of its title, the Censura.14

    Suspicians of the Spiritual Exercises

It contains attacks on the Society of Jesus, on Ignatius, and on the Exercies. ..." [pg 87]

[pg 88] ...Nevertheless, Ignatius and the alumbrados did share certain common beliefs, and aspirations. ...

[pg 96] ...14 The full title reads: Censura y parecer contra el Instituto de los Padres Jesuitas. ..."

History of the Captivity of Napoleon at St. Helena from the letters and journals of the late Lieut.-Gen. Sir Hudson Lowe, and official documents not before made public; by William Forsyth, M.A., author of 'Mortensius' and 'History of Trial by Jury' Late Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. In Two Volumes, Volume I; New York: Harper & Brothers, Publishers, 329 & 331 Pearl Street, Franklin Square. 1853; Chapter VI, pg 208

"... Great dissentions and civil commotions between De Las Cases and Gourgard (the latter backed by Montholon) about the rooms. Both applied to Bonaparte in urgent term to get them, but Nap. very wisely settled it like Pope Leo, by taking them himself. Montholon can not conceal his joy at the failure of De Las Cases, and for the present is triumphant; 'but the Jesuit ever worketh underhand, speaketh little and mischievously, and at last will make his way like a mouse in a cheese.' 1

1 "Ma il Gesuito sempre travaglia travaglia sotto man, parla poco e male, ed alla fine riuscira come topo nel formaggio."" - History of the Captivity of Napoleon at St. Helena

History of the Captivity of Napoleon at St. Helena by General Count Montholon [Charles-Tristan Montholon], the Emperor's Companion in Exile, and Testamentary Executor. Volume II; London: Henry Colburn, Publisher, Great Marlborough Street. ["Entered at Stationers' Hall"] 1846; pg 388

"...But there is a religious society, the tendency of which is highly dangerous, and which should never have been admitted into the territories of the empire -- viz., the Society of Jesus. Its doctrines are subversive of all monarchial principles. The General of the Jesuits desires to be sovereign master, the sovereign of sovereigns. Everywhere the Jesuits are tolerated, they strive for power, at any price. Their society is by nature fond of ruling, and nourishes, therefore, an irreconcilable hatred of all existing power. Any action, any crime, however atrocious it may be, is meritorious, if committed for the interest of the society, or by the orders of its General. …" - History of the Captivity of Napoleon at St. Helena

Here you erred and exaggerated the position. I do not believe, nor have said (anywhere) that "a group of billions of people are ALL EVIL". I am speaking about a specific religious order and it theology (faith/practice). Individual people are just that - people. Yet, if such people obey the mandates of the order of the Jesuits, they are practicing evil, whether they know it or not.

The only reason individual people are bad, is because of what they believe. teach and live by. The system of Roman Catholicism (of which I used to be, for 30 years) is inherently evil. Now, there can be Christians therein, who walk according to the light that they have, this is true, and I even know some, but this does not make the system itself good. These are kindly people inspite of what their theology actually teaches (this also goes for individual 'muslims').

As stated above. People are people. The condemnation is for the theological errors that are Jesuitism. I assume (being merciful) that the vast majority who "show up day one for priesthood training" haven't the slightest clue as to what they are getting themselves into.

Are you admitting you are a Jesuit, or are you speaking about the imaginary scenario above? Again, attempt to make distinction between persons and practices as I have and do. There are varied persons that know what they do is evil, and they need Christ Jesus also.

Jesuitism is "completely evil" but masquerades as benevolence.

Only the strawman you have vainly imagined, and thus it only speaks about "your character" that you would do that.

Sister White, based this statement upon solid facts, and it is even more mild, than the statements from others in history, that are yet to be produced (and they will be produced by the grace of God):

The Great Controversy; by E.G. White, Page 234 -

"Throughout Christendom, Protestantism was menaced by formidable foes. The first triumphs of the Reformation past, Rome summoned new forces, hoping to accomplish its destruction. At this time the order of the Jesuits was created, the most cruel, unscrupulous, and powerful of all the champions of popery. Cut off from earthly ties and human interests, dead to the claims of natural affection, reason and conscience wholly silenced, they knew no rule, no tie, but that of their order, and no duty but to extend its power. (See Appendix.) The gospel of Christ had enabled its adherents to meet danger and endure suffering, undismayed by cold, hunger, toil, and poverty, to uphold the banner of truth in face of the rack, the dungeon, and the stake. To combat these forces, Jesuitism inspired its followers with a fanaticism that enabled them to endure like dangers, and to oppose to the power of truth all the weapons of deception. There was no crime too great for them to commit, no deception too base for them to practice, no disguise too difficult for them to assume. Vowed to perpetual poverty and humility, it was their studied aim to secure wealth and power, to be devoted to the overthrow of Protestantism, and the re-establishment of the papal supremacy."

The Great Controversy; by E.G. White, Page 235 -

"When appearing as members of their order, they wore a garb of sanctity, visiting prisons and hospitals, ministering to the sick and the poor, professing to have renounced the world, and bearing the sacred name of Jesus, who went about doing good. But under this blameless exterior the most criminal and deadly purposes were often concealed. It was a fundamental principle of the order that the end justifies the means. By this code, lying, theft, perjury, assassination, were not only pardonable but commendable, when they served the interests of the church. Under various disguises the Jesuits worked their way into offices of state, climbing up to be the counselors of kings, and shaping the policy of nations. They became servants to act as spies upon their masters. They established colleges for the sons of princes and nobles, and schools for the common people; and the children of Protestant parents were drawn into an observance of popish rites. All the outward pomp and display of the Romish worship was brought to bear to confuse the mind and dazzle and captivate the imagination, and thus the liberty for which the fathers had toiled and bled was betrayed by the sons. The Jesuits rapidly spread themselves over Europe, and wherever they went, there followed a revival of popery."
She isn't speaking about the low level initiate (who isn't really a Jesuit, merely a grub in training). She is speaking about those under the greater vows of the order.

Constant SDA cut & paste spamming is not new to BB. Just look through all the anti-Catholic threads and see that it is SDA's that rely on others work and not there own. Just wish the administrators would put a stop to it. Why don't you SDA's do the work on your 'Catholic Bigot' threads and not rely on your plagiarized materials?

The Freemasons were originated by the Jesuit order. The "G" in the midst of the Compass and Square is the symbol for the "Gesu" or "Church of the "Gesu" (the "mother church" of the Jesuits), of which said order came - The Gesu Church Rome - Mother church of the Society of Jesus with the Tomb of St. Ignatius of Loyola - Pilgrim-info.com

The Jesuits claim to be the "builders" of a new world.

"... It is curious to note too that most of the bodies which work these, such as the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the Rite of Avignon, the Order of the Temple, Fessler's Rite, the 'Grand Council of the Emperors of the East and West -- Sovereign Prince Masons,' etc., etc., are nearly all the offspring of the sons of Ignatius Loyola. The Baron Hundt, Chevalier Ramsay, Tschoudy, Zinnendorf, and numerous others who founded the grades in these rite, worked under instructions from the General of the Jesuits. The nest where these high degree were hatched, and no Masonic rite is free from their baleful influence more or less, was the Jesuit College of Clermont at Paris. ..." - Isis Unveiled: A Master-Key To The Mysteries Of Ancient And Modern Science And Theology by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Vol. II - Theology, page 390 - Theology

    Ellen G White:
“Sin rests upon us as a church because we have not made greater effort for the salvation of souls among the colored people.... You have no license from God to exclude the colored people from your places of worship. Treat them as Christ's property, which they are, just as much as yourselves. They should hold membership in the church with the white brethren. Every effort should be made to wipe out the terrible wrong which has been done them. At the same time we must not carry things to extremes and run into fanaticism on this question. Some would think it right to throw down every partition wall and intermarry with the colored people, but this is not the right thing to teach or to practice.”—The Southern Work, 15.

Yep, try the historical context in which it was placed there. It's just a grave marker, with no Masonic symbols on it anywhere:

Were Ellen White and the Adventist Pioneers Freemasons? | Adventist Defense League

Yep, try the historical context in which it was written, and the context of the paragraph itself. Evangelize, not marry to win souls (which is always wrong). There were also still laws against such, and it would have been much harder for Evangelization, and also any children born of such at the time - they would have been hated by both sides as history attests. Time would come, and if you would read a little more you will clearly see this, but only if you desire to, if not, that's your willful mistaken prerogative. The greater context of the statement, is that God's people (Christians) were not to marry non-Christians (of any colour), whites, asian, etc, and also not the blacks (African American if you desire) who had just come out of bondage of slavery, and were ignorant of a lot of things. That was the sin that brought degredation in the time of Noah, in Moses' day, in Solomon's day, etc.

For instance on the passages about intermarriage the White Estate itself even affirms with numerous examples:

"... THESE MESSAGES WERE WRITTEN BY ELLEN G. WHITE IN 1896 AND 1912. REPEATED STATEMENTS FROM HER PEN CONCERNING RACIAL RELATIONSHIPS CLEARLY INDICATE THAT HER COUNSEL ON INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE IS NOT AN ISSUE OF RACIAL INEQUALITY; BUT ESSENTIALLY A QUESTION OF ADVISABILITY OR INADVISABILITY STEMMING FROM CIRCUMSTANCES AND CONDITIONS THAT COULD RESULT IN "CONTROVERSY, CONFUSION AND BITTERNESS." SEE APPENDIX 2, "IMPORTANT FACTORS IN CHOOSING A LIFE COMPANION." ELLEN G. WHITE HAS REPEATEDLY REAFFIRMED HER UNDERSTANDING OF, AND FIRM BELIEF IN, THE EQUALITY OF ALL RACES AND THE BROTHERHOOD OF MANKIND. SEE APPENDIX 3, "THE BROTHERHOOD OF MANKIND."--WHITE TRUSTEES. ..." - 2SM, Chap. 42, page 343. - Selected Messages Book 2, Page 343 -- Ellen G. White Writings

"... All should consider that they have no right to entail upon their offspring that which will place them at a disadvantage; they have no right to give them as a birthright a condition which would subject them to a life of humiliation. ..." - Ibid.

If the truth of the context does not suffice, nothing will, and like all those who reject truth, do so at their own eternal peril.

For more on who the “sons of God” are in Genesis 6:2,4 KJB, please see Luke 3:38; Genesis 4:26 KJB, etc., and for the daughters of men, see Genesis 4:16-24 KJB.

Many “Sons of God” “looked”/“saw” [“saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair” and “took them wives of all which they chose” [Genesis 6:2 KJB]] and "beheld" [Just as did Samson, “she pleaseth me well”, or King David who went after Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah the Hittite and his friend, through covetousness had Uriah killed in action “from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman [was] very beautiful to look upon” [2 Samuel 11:2, 12:9 KJB] and Solomon who “multiplied wives” and “loved many strange women” and all Israel who took of the “daughters of the land”], and then “lusted and coveted” and so were ensnared being “Vex[ed], Beguiled, To Commit Trespass Against The LORD, Commit Fornication, Eat things sacrificed unto Idols, worshipped idols” [Numbers 25:18, 31:16; Revelation 2:14 KJB]:

Jude 1:11 KJB - Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

In the greater overall picture there is a like message and call for the “people of God” also today to “come out” of “Spiritual Babylon” [just as God had done with physical Babylon; Jeremiah 51:9; Isaiah 52:11 KJB] that “great Whore” [Revelation 17:1, 19:2 KJB]:

    Inigo & Alumbrados:

"Alumbrado, ( Spanish: “Enlightened”: ) Italian Illuminato, plural Illuminati, a follower of a mystical movement in Spain during the 16th and 17th centuries. Its adherents claimed that the human soul, having attained a certain degree of perfection, was permitted a vision of the divine and entered into direct communication with the Holy Spirit. From this state the soul could neither advance nor retrogress. Consequently, participation in the liturgy, good works, and observance of the exterior forms of religious life were unnecessary for those who had received the “light.” The Alumbrados came primarily from among the reformed Franciscans and the Jesuits, but their doctrines seem to have influenced all classes of people. The extravagant claims made for their visions and revelations caused them to be relentlessly persecuted. The Inquisition issued edicts against them on three occasions (1568, 1574, and 1623)." - Encyclopedia Britannica, section "Alumbrados" - Alumbrado | Spanish mystic group
    "Censura":

"... The prosecutor’s case includes several passages, printed in italics, which are drawn from the Censura. They concern the mission of Pierre Favre (1506–46) to Germany (cf. Censura, fol. 95v), the behavior of Diego Laínez and Alfonso Salmerón (1515–85) at Trent (cf. fol. 96r), the legality of the Society’s approbation (cf. fols. 97r–97v), its association with the sisters founded by the Countess of Guastalda (ibid.), and the sexual licence of some Jesuits (cf. fol. 100v).20 ..." - http://booksandjournals.brillonline.com/content/journals/10.1163/22141332-00403001

NOPE..... She said COLORED. She said it we can even today see the mix of HUMAN and other ANIMALS.

"But if there was one sin above another which called for the destruction of the race by the flood, it was the base crime of amalgamation of man and beast which defaced the image of God, and caused confusion everywhere." —Spiritual Gifts, Vol. 3, p. 64, 1864.

"Every species of animal which God had created, were preserved in the ark. The confused species which God did not create, which were the result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the flood. Since the flood there has been amalgamation of man and beast, as may be seen in the endless varieties of species of animals and certain races of men." —Spiritual Gifts, Vol. 3, p.75, 1864.

Which race of men would that be?

When Washington monument or Vatican has a Obelisk they are accused of pagan symbol worship. But when Ellen G White's own grave has a Obelisk its a free pass.

"... REVELATION XII. … NOTES ... + The Jesuits, the most subtle and active of all the popish emissaries, were established, as a society, by Ignatius Loyola in the year 1534, soon after the Reformation, which was begun by Luther in the year 1517, and was carried into an open protest against the severe popish decrees at Spire in Germany, by several princes of the Empire in the year 1529, which was the original of the name Protestants, by which the reformed churches are called to this day: And how indefatigable numerous swarms of Jesuits have been in their endeavors to overthrow the Reformation; and what cruelties the Duke of Alva used in the Netherlands, and Queen Mary in England; and how the Council of Trent, the Parisian and Irish massacres, and numberless other efforts of popish princes have been spirited up to suppress and extirpate the Protestant religion, is so familiarly known, as are all the rest of the facts, ... with respect to the time of the Reformation, that it is quite needless to quote particular au- [Page 287-288] thorities, which may be seen in all the historians of those times; and are almost in every one's hands."
