    But that verb is not singular "having done."
    Translators also interpret other than translate the literal.
    For example "strips" in 1 Peter 2:24 is singular not plural as in Isaiah 53:5. Death in Isaiah 53:9 is plural not singular. Christ actually had two deaths on the cross, one for the atonement and the second for the resurrection.

    What has singular or plural got to do with anything

    So on the one hand all humans are conceived as "sinners" Romans 5:19, even though they have done nothing good or bad.
    So the obvious question is what is the meaning of "made sinners" if they have not sinned? A "sinner" goes into a separated from our Holy God, state, with complete inability, by their own efforts, to reunite with God. All our works of righteousness are as filthy rags.

    Romans 3:23 says "all" sinned. Does the "all" refer to all humans able to sin, thus excluding the feeble-minded and those early in life that do not know their right hand from their left? I think so. OTOH, to be made sinners, must include the feeble-minded and those early in life, because that is how they were made.

    Sin refers both the our thoughts or actions and the consequence God imposes. So to be "made sinners" refers, IMO, to the consequence God has imposed, corruption and separation. This can therefore apply to those who have done nothing good or evil. (Romans 9:11).

    This is the only view that fits and does not conflict with all scripture

    It was something all ready done.
    If singlar then that would mean in Romans 9:11 no good or evil in anyway. But that word in plural means practiced as oppoosed to not have done anything at all. Acts 19:19, ". . . Many of them also which used [practiced] curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver." πραξαντων The very word in grammar used in Romans 9:11.

    Is πραξαντων plural or singular in Romans 9:11 and Acts 19:19? The very same word is used in both places. You seem to think with @Van that it really does not change the meaning to be different than the common interpretation for translation of Romans 9:11.

    I believe that children conceived are conceived with the sin nature. Which the mere having is a sin. So the standard translations of Romans 9:11 are misleading translating the plural as a singular. In 1 Peter 2:24 a singlar is translated as a plural. In Isaiah 53:9 a plural is translated as a singluar.
    There are words in the plural which in English needed to be translated in the singular. Romans 9:11 is a mistake to translate that plural as a singular.

    WOW!!! This is a response from someone who has shown time and again, lacks any real knowledge of Greek, especially the grammar! Such is the foolishness of some who try everything to get their point heard! :rolleyes:

    The idea of Romans 9:11 is that early in life people have not done anything good or evil. All this effort at mind reading is beneath contempt.

    Do you or do you not understand childern not yet born are conceived having the sin nature which possessing is in and of itself a sin. Yes or no.

    having a "nature" that is "sinful", that is having the ability to commit sins, is not the same as actually "sinning", as in the "act of sin". You have thus far not dealt with what I have said on Isaiah 7:16, which clarifies this passage in Romans?
