Made, not Declared

Some claim being made righteous by the blood of Christ is the same thing as being declared righteous or having righteousness "imputed" to us. This assertion is false theology.

When God and God alone transfers us into Christ, i.e. when we are baptized into Christ, we undergo the circumcision of Christ where our sin burden (what God holds against us due to sin) is removed. Thus the Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world, one sinner at a time.

Additionally, some claim we have not been made righteous, because we still think and do sinful things. This assertion is also false theology. Although we certainly think and do sinful things, because we have been justified, once for all our sins, past, present and future, it is just as if we had not sinned, therefore we remain righteous.

Some English translations of scripture render Titus 3:7 as including "declared righteous" but the vast majority of translations render the Greek word "dikaiOthentes" as "justified. So a Greek word has within its range of meanings "declared righteous" but according modern translations (NASB, NKJV, NET, LEB and NIV) they all render it justified at Titus 3:7.

Summary, how are we made righteous, by the blood of the Lamb.
When are we made righteous, when we are transferred into Christ.

That is one of two interpretations. Romans 6:4-5, Ephesians 4:5.
I think God puts those of His choosing into Christ. No verse suggests otherwise.

Certainly not Romans 6:3-5, Ephesians 4:5, Galatians 3:27, or Colossians 1:13.

Those whom He has predestined and already chosen shall receive Lord Jesus and confirm their calling and election was true!

Thank you. The language you had used was too similar to Romans 6:3-5.

How about 1 Corinthians 12:13, "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit."

Add it to the list of verses that say God and God alone puts those of His choosing into Christ on the basis of crediting their faith as righteousness.

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me,is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
~ Ephesians 2:4-5

These verses in no way support the malarkey posted by Y1

The usual suspects post non-germane verses as if supporting their bogus doctrine. We are made alive when placed into Christ, thus "together with Christ."

When God and God alone transfers us into Christ, i.e. when we are baptized into Christ, we undergo the circumcision of Christ where our sin burden (what God holds against us due to sin) is removed. Thus the Lamb of God takes away the sin of the world, one sinner at a time.
" And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
14 blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
" ( Colossians 2:10-14 ).

The above tells me that the burden of sin for the believer was removed at the cross.
Thus, Jesus Christ took away the sins of His people, all at one time.

" For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life." ( Romans 5:10 ).

Here the above tells me that the believer was reconciled to God...
How and when?
By the death of His Son.

Again, this happened at the cross.

" I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." ( Galatians 2:20 ).

Yet again, the above tells me that Paul, like the rest of his brothers and sisters in the faith, was crucified with Christ.
When He went to the cross, so did all for whom He died.
Summary, how are we made righteous, by the blood of the Lamb..
Amen.
When are we made righteous, when we are transferred into Christ.
Please see above.

Some questions to answer...

Does God credit our faith as righteousness? See Romans 4
Yes.
Does our faith come from us, or Someone else? See Ephesians 2:8, Hebrews 11:1, Hebrews 12:2, Galatians 2:16-20.
Is it given, in the behalf of Christ to the believer, to believe on Him? See Philippians 1:29.

Is it given to His sheep to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to others in parables...
So that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not hear? See Matthew 13, Mark 4 and Luke 8....as well as John 12 and Romans 11.
Do sinners understand and respond to the gospel? See Matthew 13.
Them that are perishing do not, while those that are saved, do. See 1 Corinthians 1:18-24.
Do many people not receive or welcome the word of God, because they are not "of" God? See John 8:43-47.
Do those who are not born again receive God's words? See 1 Corinthians 2:14.
Does God transfer individuals into Christ's kingdom? See Colossians 1:13
Are we made righteous in Christ? See Romans 5:19.
Are we made perfect? See Hebrews 12:23
Are we made blameless and holy? See Colossians 1:22
Are we sealed with the Holy Spirit forever? See Ephesians 1:13 and John 14:16
Yes and Amen.
I think God puts those of His choosing into Christ. No verse suggests otherwise.
I agree and well said, sir.:)

Please do not copy and paste off topic smokescreed.

And the very passage pasted proves our sin burden was removed when we were transferred into Christ, thus together with Christ.

Readers can see that the OP rejects all scripture showing his assertion wrong. He "snips" out that which he dislikes.
If readers have been here for any length of time they have seen the OP regurgitate his wrong position over and over again with the same Godly responses being rejected by the OP.
After reading this post the OP will opine about calvinism and other isms while still rejecting the verses that show his position to be wrong.
This will begin in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
