Most newer versions read the same in those verses, especially the NKJV, and in modern language.

Some that the KJV has wrong are:
    Ex. 20:13
    1 Tim. 6:10
    Acts 12:4
    Jude 25
    Rev. 16:5
There are others, but these immediately come to mind.

I noticed the KJV in all these cases are supported by the Majority/Byzantine Text.
Do you have the manuscript evidence for Nestle/Aland version of Luke 4:4 by chance?

I have a NA26. It lists א B L W 1241 pc as the mss that omit the reading. The f35GNT shows that is 0.4% of the mss and 0.1% of another reading.

Thank you! Nestle/Aland here cannot be correct. A primitive mistake, probably from copying a damaged manuscript. Of course N/A will think the words were added from Matthew or Deuteronomy. But it has no real manuscript support for such a view. A primitive error that only affected a few. pc (a few others)?

Notice the words which fell out of Codex's Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, 1241 and so on. They fell out because of eye skip. It happens again and again with Vaticanus and Sinaiticus. The great ancestor of those two manuscripts made many accidental mistakes . There is a lot of differences between the two manuscripts. But agreements between the two in readings like this go back many generations to the 2nd century ancestor of Vaticanus/Sinaiticus. These are shared errors that go back to the second century.
So we are not to see these two manuscripts as correct because of the ancestor's mistakes. Take out the mistakes of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus and you will have a Byzantine (mostly) text.

If you eat, you kill or have killed something. If you murder, you've deliberately & wrongfully ended the life of another person. "not to murder" is the intent of the command.

I don't have time right now to go thru it all, but the Hebrew word in Ex. 20:13 is 'ratsach', which generally pertains to murder.

Not at all. A goof in the KJV is "kill" in Ex. 20:13.

But one verse the KJV has right & several other newer versions miss is John 7:8Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.
Several other versions incorrectly leave out "yet".

So you actually believe KJV OT translation is the issue of Greek text which is the issue of this thread.
