I don't post effeminate junk that you are into. Take your immorality elsewhere. Better yet, turn from it and follow the Lord.

I have begged and pleaded with you to stop following me around, making sarcastic remarks about my every post. You have disregarded my requests.

You state that I'm easily offended. Yet, you continue to go out of your way to try to offend me.

You have stated I'm "ungodly," and a "hypocrite." Yet, you're own behavior is anything but "godly," and are the actions of a "hypocrite."

It's obvious you have been guilty of bullying behavior for a long, long time. But (apparently) no one has stood up to you.

And when someone finally does stand up to the bullying, the bully "turns up the heat" by intensifying his attacks.

And then you have the audacity to claim that I'M the hypocrite. And that I'M being ungodly.

Time to look in the mirror, isn't it?

Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that I am, indeed, what you claim I am.

If I am "ungodly," and am guilty of "spiritual immaturity," how should you, therefore, respond?

Are your comments, somehow, helping me to become a "godly" man? Are you helping me to become spiritually mature?

Or are your comments encouraging me to continue on an unwise course?

I told you to take your ungodliness elsewhere or better yet turn from your sin. I further said it was ironic, but more significant that you make all those gay remarks yet seemingly profess an appreciation for Bible versions when you do the opposite of the Word of God.

It is more relaxing to read. I can turn off the old English interpreter in my brain.

You didn't get much attention as a child, did you, Rip?

Growing up, no matter how hard you tried, you could never seem to live up to your father's high expectations of you, could you, Rip?

Yes, I know what you mean. Sometimes, it can be a great blessing to simply focus on "reading" what the Word has to say to us. It isn't always necessary to approach the scriptures with a "study" mindset.

I think Alexander 284 is feeling harrased by all of your post's questioning his translation choices. Perhaps a little less negativity on your part is called for? You have good information but not everyone will agree all of the time.

You are clearly out of the loop. The last comment I made on the subject of Bible translations was in post #8 in which I merely said that the thread titles are repetitive. That's how benign my post was. In return I got all his absurd effeminate garbage from him in post after post after post.

No. It is not one post, but many, many post's of yours were not friendly. Posts critical of him posting about different versions. This goes back farther than you think.

It goes back to one poster criticising the other in multiple post's for changing opinions about bible translations.

One thing I really appreciate about the NKJV is the fact that the publisher (and translators) have avoided "updating" the NKJV for nearly forty years! I congratulate them for "bucking the trend!"

Yes, the capitalization of words is a nice feature (which I like about the NASB, also).

Perhaps a bit random, but ... it seems to me it is nearly impossible to find the NKJV in anything other than a red letter edition. (I'm one who really prefers Bibles in a black letter format.) Do you know of any NKJV Bibles with a black letter text, by any chance?

Do you think it's time to update the NKJV?
