Now you're moving the goal posts toward a different term because you were wrong in your prior statement. That the term trinity is in scripture.

You're avoiding responsibility. You were wrong. Yet, will not admit it.

You started with this claim, not me. I used the term Trinity and you did not like that.

I took your argument "In that word "trinity" does not exist, " as a standalone statement. The term exists, but not in the word of God.

You continue to make false statements. I already explained I took an earlier statement of yours by itself as not true.

Someone suggested that the Third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, was not a Person. Now a Person has a will, they make autonomous choices, they have intellect, they have knowledge, and they have emotion. In Acts 13:1-2 the Holy Spirit chooses to send Paul and Barnabas. In John 14:26 the Holy Spirit will teach the Disciples. And in Ephesians 4:29-30 we see that the Holy Spirit can become "grieved" or disheartened.

But this thread's issue is not the Person-hood of the Third Person of the Trinity, that is a given, but whether the other Two Persons of the Trinity share the same eternal divine Spirit?

I may have missed it but it seems no one has clearly said (1) Yes, (2) No, or (3) I do not know.

Question for the believers of our Triune God. Is Yahweh one Spirit or three spirits?

The question is are these different names of one spirit or many divine spirits?

Matthew 3:16 - Spirit of God
Matthew 10:20 - Spirit of the Father
Luke 4:18 - Spirit of the Lord
John 14:17 - Spirit of Truth (the Helper)
Acts 16:7 - Spirit of Jesus
Romans 1:4 - Spirit of Holiness
Romans 8:2 - Spirit of Life
Romans 8:9 - Spirit of Christ
Romans 8:11 - Spirit of Him who raised Jesus
Romans 8:15 - Spirit of Adoption
Galatians 4:6 - Spirit of His Son
Ephesians 1:13 - Spirit of the promise (Holy Spirit)
    1 Peter 4:14 - Spirit of Glory

The question is how many divine spirits make up our Triune God, one or more than one?
If you do not know or have not formulated an opinion, that is ok.

Intellectual dishonesty in a debate concerning God's truth is unbecoming.
Continuing with this is not healthy for my spirit. We're done.

I am being honest with you. I presume by your responses you believe yourself to be being honest with me. Ok, that is good.

What seems to be at issue is you want the extra Biblical term "Trinity" not to be used. That is a secondary issue.

The primary issue is God who He is and the Persons who are that God.

The topic of this thread is answered with John 4:24, Romans 8:9, 1 John 5:12, 2 Corinthians 13:5 with Romans 8:16 among other references. Meaning the Persons who are the one God are the same Yahweh being the same essence.

WE try to give a six hour warning at about post #130
Normally, you are free to re-start a new thread
(once in a while- we ask not to restart for a period of time)

In addition, if you do restart a thread - you can always link the old one in the OP.
One reason we close is that often the the same thing is said over and over -
and someone brand new, may not want to be going over a thread - that could be several months old.

    ONE

And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Spirit the God spoke and manifested itself as Light on the earth in contrast to the lord of darkness, the adversary Satan the devil.

Genesis 1:3 God spoke [and the Sun became the source of light to the earth.] "Let there be light."
