Back in 1988 Edgar - was big stuff - he sold nearly 5 million books and had a daily 15 minute radio show. He also made several in-person speaking engagements.

    Edgar C. Whisenant - Wikipedia

He came out and said he did NOT know the day of the Rapture -
    BUT he knew the week!

When Jesus returns, the earth will be burned with fire and there will be an eternity of peace.

    2 Peter 3:4-14

They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.

They are part and parcel. As the Rapture takes place before the Millenium.

What rapture? We meet Jesus in the air. He returns immediately and wipes out this world with fire.

Sure - After the Rapture happens - 7 years rule by the devil followed by the 1,000 year reign. -
So, when the rapture happens those left knows the 1000 years will start 7 years later.

I do believe that the Rapture could happen tonight - or it might be another 10,000 years.

Thus, the reason I mentioned Whisnut. He said he knew the week.
Which meant that the 1,000 years would begin in the year 1995.
When I interviewed him on the Radio - I asked him if the Lord does not return - during his one week window - would he come back on my show for an interview. He agreed. Evidently, he was ruptured - as he never called me back

Next time, I may tell you his story about his dog!

At least you have some understanding about at least two terms of the Biblical chronology. Between the end of the 7 years of tribulation and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ there will be a transitional period of 30 days. It's between 1260 (Rev.) and 1290 (Dan.). Scripture calls this period "the time of Iacobs trouble" (Jer.30:7). No one knows either the day or the hour of the third coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at the end of 1000 years of the world.

Arrogance is one of the features of formal "Christians".

It is also a feature of every human that comes to the BB. Pride lurks in us all.

Konstantin, you are a full-fledged disciple of dispensational eschatology and you simply won't entertain the idea that you have it wrong. I spent much of my life in your camp. As I read the Bible in whole, I realized that the Apostles and Jesus never teach dispensationalism. The theory is taken from Daniel and Revelation. Using those verses as the base, the dispensationalist forces Jesus and the Apostles words into their construct and create a meaning that context does not support.
I know I won't change your mind. At this point you have an unnatural fixation on this subject so that clear thinking is clouded. God will have to pull you back and open your eyes.

I wish you well. I am not fixated on this subject, but it does make me sad that you seem to be missing the richness of living life today. Today God will pour out grace and peace to us.
    2 Peter 1:2

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

I was almost drawn into ole Herbie's apostasy, til the HOLY SPIRIT opened a Bible I'd accidentally dropped onto a couch to Rev. 20 & I read the last 15 verses & knew for sure from them that hell is eternal & Herbie's "annihilationism" doctrine was false. I went to work & found many more false doctrines in his teachings. (More study showed me preterism is false.) PRAISE THE LORD for opening my eyes to the TRUTH !

At one time, I was a mixture of JW, Mormonism, Armstrongism, and Atheist attending a liberal church and a fundamentalist church

    I was a theological mess

see how that “calling of God thing” works
