If DT wins the nomination, I think his best VP choice would be DeSantis. I think DeSantis would have stronger support than the women mentioned: Kari Lake, MTG, and Elise’s Stafawnic (sp) since he is more widely known and has a clear record of accomplishment.

    peace to you

Trump won't have a Vice President since he will never be President again. I have no idea who he will select for his running mate, if it ever gets that far.

If Republicans give Trump the nomination, they will lose across the board. He is less popular than ever.

I'd say the only chance Trump would have is if Biden runs. But even here it would be a slim chance.

Most people do not hate Biden (they just view Biden as incompetent). But a large population hates Trump (even some who agree with Trumps platform would not vote for him).

Why does the Republican Party pander to Donald, the narcissist, Trump?

Honestly, it won't matter who Trump wanted for VP because the Democratic Party would win in a landslide if Trump were the Presidential nominee.
If the Republicans want any chance at the White House, they need a different candidate. Trump is done as a politician. Now, he's just a disrupter.

    Normally, never say never!
So now how about the answer - if Trump does win the R nomination - who would he choose.

Remember Reagan chose his running mate well before the Rep convention

Maybe… maybe not. Time and the voting (MAGA) base will tell.

    To keep the Trump supporters.

The GOP is in a tough spot. They can't win with Trump, but they also can't win without Trump's supporters.

The large block of centrists would swing the vote back to Republicans, if the Republicans would only select a candidate that wasn't so polarizing.

Maybe Mike Lindell or Alex Jones! ;)

OK… Pompeo if he is nuts enough to stick his neck out. Note the Roman General Pompey lost his head. One minute you’re on top of the world & the next…

Perhaps. I doubt the world needs to worry about another Trump victory anyway. Occasionally I have wondered if he was now working for the DNC.

Polarizing gets votes… non polarizing is Jeb Bush.

That statement is simply untrue. His popularity has remained constant in the low 40% range.

    peace to you

If the race is between Biden and Trump - most R's will vote for Trump - even if they have to hold their nose.

That’s a giant stink! Worse still would be that (snip) Build Back Better (snip) and/or Kamel Harris. Useless, utterly useless.
