    It is still very early, but the whole “Dems want DT to run against Biden because he will lose” isn’t reflected in this poll.

    And that poll was taken when the news media was yaking about his trial of which that trial about a female - which is a "he said/she said/ for that happening around 1995 - that was over 25 years ago.

    Maybe we should bring up the 1965 situation when, Biden failed a course at Syracuse Universtiy because he wrote a paper that used five pages from a published law-review article without quotation...

    I can't imagine my Baptist dog, should he decide to run, not being at least 7% up on Biden. My dog is smarter than Biden.

    I would guess your dog is smarter than any politician, as are my three dogs. Proof? None of our dogs have ever run up a $31 trillion debt.

    I doubt that the "Rule by Gerontocracy" bunch in the House and the Senate, plus those that are running for president in 2024 - the 70, 80. and 90 years olds - would go along with the idea. They probably fear that if the president can be removed from office due to age-related issues, then so might they.

    Has it ever been used? I think Woodrow Wilson had a major stroke, but I don’t think the 25th was used to replace him.

    I just keep seeing odd stories about how POTUS’s wife is structuring diet and exercise for him, and how he won’t comply….

    And The story about the FBI whistleblower revealing an investigation into corruption a decade ago while he was VP.

    I think there is a machine at work trying to persuade him to reconsider running.

    Let RFK, jr., get above 30% in the polls and it will get very interesting. Imagine if RFK wins SC primary or Iowa caucuses.

    It might be an unstoppable wave in the Dem party to replace him.

    The 25th was used when Sprio resigned. (1974) Ford became Veep then NIxon resigned and then Ford became POTUS and Rocky became the new veep

    Sections 1, 2, and 3 as a whole of the 25th Amendment have been used six times. Section 4 has never been used.

    In 1973, Spiro Agnew became the first vice president to resign due to scandal after being charged with political corruption. The 25th Amendment required then-President Richard Nixon to nominate a new vice president for Congressional approval. Nixon appointed Gerald Ford and Congress approved the nomination.

    In August 1974, the 25th Amendment compelled Vice President Gerald Ford to become president after Nixon resigned. This left the vice presidency unoccupied, so Ford invoked the 25th amendment again and nominated Nelson Rockefeller to fill the vacancy.

    On July 13, 1985, President Ronald Reagan used the 25th Amendment to transfer power to Vice President George H.W. Bush while he underwent surgery for colon cancer.

    On June 29, 2002, President George W. Bush invoked Section 3 of the 25th Amendment prior to going under anesthesia for a colonoscopy and briefly made Vice President Dick Cheney the acting president. He did the same again when he had another colonoscopy in 2007.
