Jeremiah 1:5 says God knew Jeremiah before He formed him in the womb and had already determined he would be a prophet—all before any first breath. Finally, every human spirit (breath) came from Adam, as one candle lights another (the spirit of man is the candle of the LORD), except for the Lord Jesus. That’s why every person is born a sinner—their spirit came from Adam—the sin nature comes from the man, not the woman, thus the necessity for Christ to be born of a virgin. He could not have a human father. If he did, he would have been born with a sin nature. Adam was the first being of a new creation. The Lord Jesus was the first being of a new creation also. In Adam, all die; in Christ, all are made alive, because he that is joined to the Lord, is one spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17), thus the necessity of the new birth—our spirit came from Adam, and is dead to God, and must be born again of the Word of God, and the Spirit of God (quickened) and united to the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ as we are placed into Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13) by the Holy Spirit.

The first New Testament writer to record Jesus' teaching for the need of the New birth was Matthew, Matthew 18:3, ". . . And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. . . ."

Ok, no where in the Bible does it say every person’s spirit comes from Adam.

Now, you show me in scripture where it does. Otherwise, you are just making something up not supported by scripture.

    peace to you

There’s no other place it can come from. Adam is the first man, the father of the race.

Yes, God put it in Adam and Adam had a son “in his own image”.

The spirit God put into Adam was not sinful—until Adam sinned and died to God.

If every man’s spirit came straight from God, not passed down from one man to another as candle flame to candle, then every human after Adam’s fall would have been born sinless, and Christ could have a human father also.

Surely you don’t believe God puts a sinful spirit into each child? Totally illogical.
