Rec this in my E-mail today:

STATEMENT ON WOOD-FIRE PIZZA ATTACK FROM NEW YORK STATE CONSERVATIVE PARTY CHAIRMAN GERARD KASSAR

Brooklyn-NY…”The Conservative Party has always understood that ‘a government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything you have.’ But we never could have imagined that government would go after wood-fire pizza. What’s next? Hotdogs and hamburgers on charcoal grills?

“New York Democrats are out of control. Gas stoves have been banned by the State, and clearly the City and State will be going after campfires, fireplaces, and, eventually, matches. If New Yorkers don’t stand up and say ‘no' now, the future here may be very dark.”

The state therefore has two natural functions, functions essential to the existence of any peaceful, ordered society: to protect the rights of citizens against violent or fraudulent assault, and to judge in conflicts of right with right. It has a further third function, which is another aspect of the first, that is, to protect its citizens from assault by foreign powers. These three functions are expressed by three powers: the police power, which protects the citizen against domestic violence; the military power, which protects the citizen against violence from abroad; and the courts of law, which judge between rights and rights, as well as sharing with the police power the protection of the citizen against domestic violence.

But since this institution must possess a monopoly of legal physical force, to give to it in addition any further power is fraught with danger; that monopoly gives to the state so much power that its natural functions should be its maximum functions.

What I find interesting is that the Democrats preach that they are the Party of choice.

But NY (D Gov, St senate & St Assy) have passed laws which will require everyone to have:

    a) only electric for heating, stoves, ect.
    b) Only be able to buy new vehicles which electric in 2035
    c) All passengers must wear a seat belt in vehicles, including limos
    d) limiting the use of employment non-compete agreements.
    e) and of course - the whole issue of wearing masks during the Chinese Virus ...

Apparently, in NY State "Choice" only refers to the (so called) right of abortion.

Both of the major parties are statist. They are not anarchists, and they are not minarchists(which is what I am). Anyone or any political party that desires that the size, scope, and reach of government goes beyond what I posted in post #2 above is a statist to whatever degree they go beyond those principles, especially on the federal and state levels.

    Here are the initial results
(not sure if this includes the absentee ballots)
    • Chuck Keller: 84----------------(The Democrat challenger)
    • Christine A. Varga: 415 (Cons party member - who will throw her support to the R incumbent)
    Thus Varga won by 83-17%

Conveniently, they want you to be all electric. Electric is provided by monopoly companies who are easily controlled by the government. It would be hard to control all wood for burning or even gas for vehicles. Easily stored too. Can’t really store electric. An expensive solar system still can’t store it. They care nothing for saving the planet, they know it’s a ruse. They want to control. Everything. If everything is electric they can shut. it. down. whenever they desire. It would be ever so much easier to implement all of this if we were disarmed, right?
