A VBS Funny.....

This year, for most of the week, I had only boys in Pre-K Bible School. [I've taught that age group for over 40 years, minus a few years when I was teaching math to junior high students in summer school.]

On Wednesday of that week, I said to the little men - "Now boys, we've had plenty of time to go and tee tee today. Ya'll have had two bottles of water and some Kool-Aid. Hardly any of you have gone to tee tee. So - who needs to go to the bathroom and tee tee?"

One tiny little man who looked 3, but was really 5, put his hand on my face and turned my head towards him - [they do that when they want you to LISTEN]. - and he said....

[Wait for it.....]

"M'am, I'm just more of a poo-poo man, myself."

[You CAN'T make this stuff up!! You just can't!]

The next day, his mom and dad met me at the door and we had a laugh about it. His dad said that that night, he had asked his dad to carry him to bed.

So the dad did. The dad told me that his little man said to him while laying on his neck - "You know Dad, I'm just not a walking man, myself."

He has heard that phrase somewhere and is milking it.
