Student Loans - Bidens new plan

It is unconstitutional, just as 90% (maybe more) of what the federal government involves itself in nowadays is unconstitutional.

 

The bigger problem is the Universities milking the system.
My daughter just started at a State University. Tuition is about $5000 per year. Room and Board is about $1000 per MONTH ($12,000 per year) per student for 4 students in 2 BR & a shared Bath. Living on campus is MANDATORY for all Freshman [even though she transferred in with an AA degree, they require 3 years of classes and she is a Freshman for her first year.]

The college has deliberately stacked the deck to maximize PROFITS. As long as the Government keeps making money available to them, why should they stop? The problem is not the high Student Loans, it is the runaway costs (greed) that is forcing those loans on the students.

 

Bingo! Not only is doing such unconstitutional on the federal level, but doing so by government, on any level, drives up the cost.
