Glaring misinterpretation of the issue. The objection is to the dissecting of scripture technique being used in your own posts, and that post supports the objection.

Why not use the same dissecting technique to isolate "day according to the scriptures"? Because it is obviously wrong; grammatically, exegetically wrong.

Why not use the same dissecting technique to isolate “sin according to what you just said” from the sentence in your own post to understand the meaning of your post? Because it is obviously wrong; grammatically, exegetically wrong.

Your dissecting technique isn’t right—not for scripture and not for your own communication.

Even if you were to switch to “our sins” to match “third day” it would still not be correct.

Your dissecting technique is wildly incorrect, but a great way to go about wrongly dividing the word of truth. Cults use that sort of thing, but for Christians it is shameful.

    I disagree.
First of course it is “sins according to the scriptures”
What else would it be? Sins according to mankind or Satan?
I also disagree with your example.
Of course it is “day according to the scriptures”
What else could it be? Month

so using your loose handling of scriptures, the gospel of Christ could be changed to
“How that Christ died for our sins according to public opinion and that he rose from the dead on the third month”
I am a stickler for exact words.

First your posts argue against "day according to the scriptures" insisting on "third day according to the scriptures." Now, when the original error is pointed out yet more fully, all of a sudden it's "day according to the scriptures" in order to avoid having to deal with "our sins according to the scriptures."

Your entire approach of dissecting scripture in these posts is laughable, sad, shameful, atrocious, cultic in style. It is not harmless but rather a classic way to mislead the unsuspecting much like the serpent in the garden. Your own posts argue against it.

Save such ridiculous methods for analyzing your own communication, which by the way, you still have not addressed. Actually apply your dissection technique to your own “sin according to what you just said” and the error of your dissection technique will become readily apparent. Here it is again:

So if it is not “sins according to the scriptures” what else would it be?
    Sins according to whom?
Clearly Christ died for our sins.

    sins according to whom?

Badly said by me. No one can get saved unless they believe the gospel of Christ.
That is why the gospel of Christ needs to be preached so that they can get saved.
    Thanks for picking that up.
