He explained his odd name (first name Dondi, middle name Enos) to a state paper:

    South Carolina Baptist Courier

"his parents went to see a movie in which Patti Page starred back in the 1960s about a WWII orphan from Italy. 'Somewhere during the movie, they decided that if they ever had a boy, they would name him Dondi,' he explained"

"'my parents...they gave me a really good backup name...'Enos'....If you ever have an unusual name you want to stick a kid with, give him a worse middle name, so they’re forced to stick with the first one'."

    Dondi film (1961) - Wikipedia

"Produced and directed by Albert Zugsmith, the film was released 26 March 1961. Dondi was listed in the 1978 book The Fifty Worst Films of All Time."

Since he was in the Chair Force - he should feel right at home!

He was Chief of Chaplains of the United States Air Force
Education includes Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. He also holds Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling from Liberty University.

He just turned 59 last month
He joined the service - the year that I ETS!
