…. After they approve a $300 million for new FBI headquarters.

The man is an FBI whistle blower concerning the targeting of certain groups by an abusive element within the FBI.

He claims he was promised, by Jim Jordan and others, the funding for the new facility would never occur until real reforms were put into place to prevent the abuse of power within the FBI.

He also claims his career has been ruined and he is the subject of an FBI investigation because of his contact with congress.

So, is this fair criticism? Is this more of the same, uni-party throw the little guy under the bus so we can all get along?

BTW, it was a Fox story. If anyone can offer the link, I would appreciate it.

    peace to you

Well yea, it's fair criticism. It isn't about the country but making sure you get the votes and support. The GOP and DNC are opposite sides of the same coin.

Ok, let me try to understand. On the one hand, the repubs want the “base” to think they going to hold the “out of control” FBI accountable for violations of the public trust….

… on the other hand the repubs are afraid the moderates will accuse them of not supporting law enforcement…..

… so they are playing both sides in attempt to get the most votes.

    ok, got it

Should we have expected the repubs to stand firm? Probably not. Very disappointing.

    peace to you

This is why the base refuses to support them. They keep losing and don’t understand why. Give to the Dems… they will vote for anyone with the “D” next to the name. In 2000 they elected Mel Carnahan (in Missouri) to Senate, even though he died in a plane crash weeks before the Election Day.

The repub base (at least a sizable %) is refusing to vote since they don’t believe it really matters. The repubs talk the game then vote like the Dems once they get to DC

    peace to you
