    That reminds me - one account per member. ;)

    If a member needs multiple accounts to have somebody to agree with....well...somethings wrong.

    ...but, being a hypocrite is not against BB rules, is it? :)

    No rule against hypocrisy :)

    To be fair here, not all rule violations result in a ban, and we go off reports.

    Two accounts is normally a ban (if actively using them). I try to check up on accounts, but this last one made it past me. :(

    In my 14+ years here on the BB I've reported 2 maybe 3 posts, all for good reason, and had no intention of 'snitching' him/them out until he/they repeatedly falsely accused me of being a Landmarkist, which I am not, note the date-scroll, and began the 'double-teaming' that is typical with two identities.

    Well, if it's something serious (having two accounts, questioning the salvation of another, bad language....things like that) we need all the help we can get.

    You know me, brother - I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed....some would say barely literate. A lot of posts here, which means a lot of words and I ain't reading most of them. :)

    I don’t think the moderators share why someone is banned. The posts are usually deleted. There are lists in the rules that explain what will get you banned.

    Short list…

    1. Don’t question another’s salvation.
    2. Don’t use foul language or se:ually explicit language
    3. Don’t share info from private messages on the public board
    4. Don’t make personal insults while debating

    There are others.

    Bottom line… be humble, be courteous, be open to considering others opinions…. Act in a manner that brings honor to our Lord Jesus.

    That’s all good. My confusion came about because I thought the author of the OP was still posting, so I thought he wasn’t banned; my error.

    Normally we don't, but sometimes we do (like it was posted that Preacher4Truth was banned for revealing personal information about a member).

    Sometimes it is an issue that affects the board (a member was banned for making physical threats against members, for example).

    I think much of the time reasons for banning are obvious to those engaging with the member.

    Most bans are behind the scenes (spammers).

    Yeah I reported a lot of those spammers... They try to sneak in here in the early morning while most of the BB is a sleep... But not me on the West Coast... I catch them before they can wreck havoc on the BB... One couple has a greeting Hello Christians and the profile picture has a man with an arm around a woman and she is scantly clad with not much left to the imagination... I catch them every time... Another group comes on here to sell stuff... They represent a company and their only here to advertise something... I report them too... I click on all the newbies, to see if they are here for the right reasons?... If they're are suspect, I report them and leave the matter to the powers that be on the BB to sort it out... I will only report a member if they get unruly and the moderators need to get involved... Until then, I'm pretty laid back... Brother Glen:)
