Just to be clear, @CJP69, my response of "I don't' was in response to the last part of your statement "then why do you speak as though that were not the case?", and not the first part. I apologize for any confusion.

Perhaps, but that would require you to make an actual argument.

That's not an argument, that's just you repeating your claim. The fact is that, at the time he was both President and a candidate.

HA! That is a real laugh! As if the bible endorses or even condones democracy in the first place!

Play all the game you want. You've clearly established yourself as one who's doctrine need not make any sense. I don't expect you to actually respond with anything that is substantive to anything I say. You exist, so far as I am concerned, for me to use as an example of the shear lunacy of Calvinist doctrine, nothing more.

So, by all means, do not concern yourself with whether or not what you say makes any sense to anyone.

My observation is that Trump defended the speech he gave and his actions on Jan 6 by stating he was not acting in the official capacity as POTUS. He later defended himself by saying he was acting in the official capacity as POTUS and therefore was immune to prosecution.

I was not making an argument.

After you posted that Trump saying he was not acting as POTUS and then saying he was acting as POTUS was saying the same thing my observation was that you are a sheeple unacquainted with objectivity and logic.

My argument was that Christians who blindly follow politicians, who repeat misinformation, and who cannot deal with objective facts serve as a poor witness for Christ because they lack honesty in the small things and therefore cannot be trusted with things of eternal significance.

If you are going to post then you really should get your facts straight.

Not playing any game, just clarifying what I was responding to with my answer.

Back to topic, just read a story that a former Obama Fed prosecutor is saying this DA should step down from the case. Corruption, real or the appearance of, could deal a set back for the prosecution.

    It’s getting interesting.

Edit to add; I also saw a report where the prosecutor spoke at a church this morning. She didn’t deny the affair. She didn’t deny using the money she paid her boyfriend to prosecute DT (over 600k) to take expensive vacations with her boyfriend. She didn’t deny the prosecution team meeting with WH officials.

She played the race card. We will see if the Georgia State’s attorney gets involved. This lady, and her boyfriend, could be disciplined, maybe even be disbarred.

Wouldn’t that be a victory for DT in an election year!!!!

    peace to you

    Another update….

A State judge has scheduled a hearing for February 15 to hear the allegations that have been filed against Willis and the DA she hired.

These are serious accusations of misconduct by prosecutors in this case, which includes charges against DT.

Additionally, a video has come out of Willis during the last campaign promising she knew better than to have personal relationships with subordinates. This was her responding to allegations against the former DA which proved to be false; but the damage was done and he lost to Willis.

Perhaps our justice system will prevail after all.

    peace to you
