No its not wrong. Those in Rev 5:9-10 were redeemed unto God by Christs Blood.

When it was written we did not yet exist. How does it or why would this include any of us?

This passage shows that the ones Christ loved and died for are converted unto God into a spiritual kingdom of priest. So His Love and death for them gave them Spiritual life and being. Is that for everyone without exception ? NO because He didnt love nor die for everyone without exception.

    @37818

So, they would exist, and when they did come into the world, they would be converted into that. As long as Christ shed His Blood for them

@Brightfame52 you have now started 10 threads "
The Atonement of Christ: What did it REALLY Achieve ?"

You have still not proved your point that it is only for a select few. And you still will not accept the biblical reality that the atonement covered all sins and made it possible for anyone to be saved through faith in the risen Son.

But I am sure your lack of success will dampen your drive to prove the unprovable.

Those for whom Christ died, it achieved for them, the taking away of their sins Jn 1:29

29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

He took away their condemnation for sin, and the power of sin over them. He took away their rebellion against Him, their disobedience and unbelief. That was promised Rom 11:26

26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer,[Jesus] and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

He takes away our sins when He delivers us from the power of darkness by the redemption in Christs blood Col 1:13-14

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

    That word redemption means:

    1. a releasing effected by payment of ransom
      1. redemption, deliverance

      2. liberation procured by the payment of a ransom

    @Silverhair

The atonement of Christ only made redemption/salvation possible ? Thats Blasphemy ! His atonement achieved the saving of them He died for.

But we are not them. So how would any of us be of the redeemed?

Then you must logically be a universalist as the bible tells us that
1Ti 4:10 ...we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
Rom 5:6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
1Ti 2:6 who gave Himself a ransom for all,...
1Jn 2:2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, ... crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

And further we know why He did this
1Ti 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Joh 3:17 "... that the world through Him might be saved.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Rom 5:10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

So the fact you continue to deny clear scripture just points to your foolish desire to support an errant theological position.

If you doubt what these verses are saying then by all means check the context of them. The bible does not lie but men that deny it do.

That Christs death merely made salvation possible is Blasphemy, for His death made sure the Salvation of Gods Elect.

What good is it, for those, if any, as you have seemed to have supposed, Christ had not redeemed? How is one to know one is included?

    False.

1 John 2:2, ". . . And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. . . ."

1 John 4:10, ". . . Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. . . ."

2 Corinthians 11:3, ". . . But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. . . ."

1 John 5:10, ". . . He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. . . ."

The lost do not understsand or believe Christ redeemed them.

2 Peter 2:1, ". . . But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. . . ."

Jude 1:4, ". . . For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. . . ."

BF you keep saying the same thing and in doing so you disagree with God. You are trusting what some man has told you the bible say and I am showing you what the bible says.
