    I see my brothers kid wanting to change her gender, my son and his partner have 2 children and are not married, my neighbors kid flipped out over fentanyl high supplied by fellow students yada yada.

    what to do in this modern world?

    The world seems like it is turning upside down. Wrong is now right. The news just now makes me look up and await my saviour.

    All Christians should be praying for Israel and the return of our Lord.

    Be a disciple of Jesus, seeking to conform every part of your life to the teachings of Jesus revealed in the Gospels.

    Be salt and light in your family and community.

    Love your neighbor as yourself.

    Love your enemies.

    Do not use the tactics of the world (name-calling, lies and distortions, political power, harassment, force, etc.) in the name of God.

    True, it's not good, but—it could be worse.

    In large part, we still have it pretty good from a historical perspective. We don't yet live in a society where homosexuality is so rampant that they can drag people out of houses and rape them without fear of consequence (Genesis 19). Our country hasn't been invaded by another country and we enslaved to them (most of the Bible).

    The "what to do" is easy, be the influence of Christ in the lives of those who are without Him. As it has been said, "You're the only Bible they're ever going to read."
