Of course salvation is only of God, we can not save ourselves. But what you continue to overlook is the requirement of that salvation, FAITH. If we do not believe then we will not be saved. It's by God's grace we are saved through faith. Hear the gospel believe the gospel saved by God. As Christ said "whoever believes will in Him have eternal life."

Now we know that Paul was writing to the saved in Philippi Philippians 1:1

Paul did not say "work for your salvation." We obtain salvation by receiving it as a gift through faith (Ephesians 2:8), but having received it freely we have a responsibility to cultivate it, to grow in our faith. The apostle had in mind the present aspect of our salvation, sanctification G38, in which we are laborers together with God (1 Corinthians 3:9; cf. Titus 3:8).

You ask who are the "all"?

The bible gives a clear answer
1Ti 2:3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
1Ti 2:4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Peter is writing to the saints and reminding them of God's love as seen through His long suffering and patience. He has also provided the various means of knowing Him. The reason for the delay in Christ's return is so that all may come to repentance as God's desire is that none should perish.

So no it is not just the "beloved"

So you can’t explain it. But you will use it as a label to identify others as …. Let me be forward here, unworthy of salvation.

There’s that word again. Tell me, do you also believe in the absolute predestination of all things?

    And again:

The world in Jn 16:8-9 is limited to the Sheep of all nations. Nothing to do with the condemned world of the reprobate. The Holy Spirit in the world of Jn 16:8-9 brings all of them to believe in Christ for their righteousness.

Faith is a work/deed of the law !

Not only does Jesus intimate this truth that Faith is a work/deed of the Law Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Who can miss that Faith here is one of the weightier matters of the law that ought to have been done !

Now another passage of scripture that intimates the same truth that Faith is a law deed is James 1:25

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The perfect law of liberty is the Gospel, it presents Christ as the liberator , hence Jesus says Jn 8:36

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.. The word free here is the greek word eleutheros and means :

    at liberty 1 Cor 7:39

The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

Its the same Liberty Paul speaks of here also Gal 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

And so the Gospel of Peace through Jesus Christ is that Law of Liberty James 1:25

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Looking here is an act of Faith, and its a doing of a work, a deed .

Now if ones says they are Justified before God because of their act of Faith, they are claiming to be Justified by the deeds of the law, which is contrary to scripture, which reads Rom 3:20

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Faith is a deed of the Law Matt 23:23 !

Well if that mentality is Reformed, then I want none of it. Yes there is evil in the world , we are all born into it, but people have the responsibility to address it via believing in Christ and attempting to be sinless. But people who categorize others as reprobates ignore the saving grace of God at His appointed time.

Did Christ ever use the term Reprobate to address anyone?

So you think your exercise in trying to support your errant view should be trusted over the clear text of scripture?

    Joh 6:27 "
Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal."
Joh 6:28 Therefore they said to Him, "What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?"
Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."

What is this food that endures to eternal life BF? And how does one get it?

Act 16:30 and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

The question we all want to hear when we are witnessing to someone

Act 16:31 They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

The only answer that we need give.

Or again we have the word of Christ
    Joh 3:14 "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up;

Joh 3:15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.
    CF Numbers 21:8-9

    Simply having the serpent on the standard wasn’t sufficient. One had to look upon it, in order to receive healing from it. Otherwise the person died. We see the same principle in salvation, the person must believe in the risen Christ before they will be saved. {Hebrews 11:6; Ephesians 1:13}

We see faith required for both physical healing as well as spiritual healing.

    ???

38 And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.
40 And with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, Save yourselves from this crooked generation. Acts 2

Context shows that Peter is telling them to save themselves from the crooked generation through faith in the risen Christ.

Were you trying to promote the idea that man could save themselves KY?

Did you not understand my comment KY? Try reading it again:

Of course salvation is only of God, we can not save ourselves. But what you continue to overlook is the requirement of that salvation, FAITH. If we do not believe then we will not be saved. It's by God's grace we are saved through faith. Hear the gospel believe the gospel saved by God. As Christ said "whoever believes will in Him have eternal life."

Does that help clear up your confusion?

Using the intended scriptual meaning of 'sozo' (not the gommed up evangelical version) in the scriptures, yes! The elect chooses to put their trust in God. The elect have always been exhorted to do so. Proverbs 3:5-6,

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.
Pro 3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Pro 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

These are all actions that the man should and can freely do.

Proverbs 3:5-7 shows man's free will in trusting in God. But just trusting in God does not save, God by His grace saves those that believe.
    Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

You have this gommed up idea of who the elect are. One is only elect if they are in Christ and that only happens through faith not before.

That fact you do not believe scripture is evident from your posts where you deny clear scripture. Sad really that you will put so much effort in denying the truth of God's holy word.

Faith does not cause our salvation it is the condition that God has set for our salvation.

Joh 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

No I haven't. Proverbs 3:5-6 was addressed to His elect:
