Mary Magdalene did not see the angels when the other women saw them.

Matthew 28:1, In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

Mark 16:1-4, And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre? And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

Luke 24:1-2, Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

John 20:1-2, The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. Then she runneth, . . .

Without John's account we have no way of knowing from, Matthew, Mark and Luke, that Mary M. was no longer included with the women when they entered the tomb.

OK? So what…I’m not following your thinking process… why does it matter?

    Mark 16:9
Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.

This is the questionable verse that creates the difficulty of who first saw Christ after He arose from the dead.

Since this verse is part of the apparently added ending material to Mark, the controversy is untangled by disregarding this verse as apocryphal.

Mark 6:5 does not say exactly who entered the tomb and saw the angel. Thus Mary Magdalene might not have entered.

Matthew 28:1-2 suggests MM saw the angel sitting on the rolled away stone.

Luke 24:3 does not specifically say MM entered the tomb or listened to the angels.

John 20:1-2 clearly says MM saw the open tomb, and ran away to tell others and she did not know what the angels had told the others as recounted in the other gospels.

Did she see the angel sitting of the rolled way stone? Apparently not. Clearly she did not know what the angel had said in Matthew 28:5-6.

All this to agree with 37818, MM apparently did not initially see or learn from the angels that spoke to the other women.
