I just made another observation that Biden got 20 million more votes than Kamala, and my question is, where did that 20 million votes go? Also, you can see that that 20 million vote spike was completely out of line with the last 4 election numbers. Hmmm...

California is still counting but you’re right. When it’s all said and done there is likely to be a huge discrepancy with the vote totals. I’m not alleging that there was voter fraud in 2020 but it makes you wonder. Did that many people not show up for the Democrats?

Yes….people are tired of them. Of course there are the hissy fit suburban Karen’s and the homosexual communities but little else. Tells ya something about the condition of that party…they are on life support.

You would think that this means the DNC has to reflect on their policies and push for someone more moderate in 2028. I doubt that’s going to be the case, however. I expect Newsom will launch a campaign in a couple of years.

Yes. It looks to me like there were about 10 million democrats who didn't vote for Harris who voted for Biden last time. Trump got about a half a million more votes than he did in 2020 so they didn't all switch to Trump. That's the reason I thought Trump would lose. I didn't know one single person who had switched their vote to Trump. But after 4 years of getting fired for using the wrong pronoun, sitting in forced personnel meetings about how racist you are as a white person, and watching all commercials featuring blacks except when you needed a buffoon, and watching male government officials posing in bondage gear and in hospital beds pretending they just had a baby - well, a lot of traditional democrats said "enough", even though they could not bring themselves to vote for Trump.

A moderate democrat would be formidable, but they have largely been weeded out of the democratic establishment. Besides, we do not know how many of those who stayed out would have been willing to vote for a Republican who isn't Trump. You're right about Newsom and you have to remember that Trump is old, and out in 4 years anyway so in two years the drum beat will start that he is irrelevant, and possibly the houses may change too.

    # of votes in the last 3 presidential elections popular vote

    2016
    Republicans - 62,984,828
    Democrats - 65,853,514
(Republican won electoral college 304-227 - faithless electors cast vote for others)

    2020
    Republicans - 74,223,975
    Democrats - 81,283,501
    Democrat won electoral college 306-232

    2024
    Republicans - 74,838,179
    Democrats - 71,247,153
    Republican won electoral college 312-226

[Some would say it is now obvious (as it was Jan 6, 2021) that the ballot-box for the Democrat 2020 was "stuffed" in an illegal win and flooded with non-verified Covid mail ballots. Numbers are skewed beyond any statistical value. The US reaped the consequences of it for the past 4 years]

If that is indeed what happened, it makes me wonder. If they were able to get away with it last time why didn’t they go for it again?

*Part of the lack this year was we are not in the Covid mandates. Remember, some states sent a mail ballot to EVERY VOTER in 2020 with no accountability (if voter wanted one, got one, was still alive, still at the same address). Tens of thousands in swing states were simply collected and filled in and returned. "Conspiracy theory" was called but proven real with boxes dumped into receptacles and no verification

*Part this year was limit of such "drop boxes" (should be illegal, period)

*Part this year was intense republican presence in EVERY polling site that was "questionable". No shenanigans allowed. Video camera oversight. Especially in "troubling areas" (read: inner city Democrat strongholds) where "overvotes" have been the norm.

Looking at the numbers, at first glance I thought the same thing. But I myself in 2016 could not bring myself to vote for Trump. In 2020 I did, partly because I felt he did a surprisingly reasonable job when he was president, but still, as we saw even on here where 2 of the moderators either refused to vote for him or made themselves physically ill doing so. And I have some close relatives who felt the same way so I think what happened was that almost 10 million people this time could not vote for 4 more years of known madness but still couldn't vote for Trump. All that to say, if I didn't personally know of so many who just could not bring themselves to vote for Trump, but were completely nauseated by the wokeness and queering of our country then I too would have had to conclude that there was indeed some hanky-panky going on in 2020.

Wife and I vacationed in Portland and Oregon Coast. Fearful to drive downtown Portland with crazies (giving them the benefit of the doubt) running, pounding on cars at stoplights, tents and **** on every sidewalk. Why anyone would think this is "good" or even "normal" is beyond me.

That said, the coast was so lovely; I do that again!!

My understanding and I could be wrong the same thing is taking place in Arizona now with Kari Lake Sen election, More ballots have come in than were sent out.

New Jersey needs that as well. There isn’t a Good Baptist church for miles and that frankly depresses me. My wife may not ever experience a genuine church family on this earth. And it’s not for my lack of trying. For example, I asked my Pastor in Florida to help and he offered to have his pastors from throughout the South come to visit a NJ Baptist church, bottom line they rejected the offer. Another individual from the Military in Virginia even came up here to lend assistance but they rejected him as well. So how can a Baptist church reject help from the brethren? I have no other recourse but to conclude that God isn’t interested in my area and community.
