Christ the risen Saviour, not potential Saviour! 2

The True Christ of the scripture, His intention in coming and dying wasnt to make Salvation potential, possible and all that , but to to be a full Saviour and to save sinners ! Here is the testimony of one who was an unbeliever and blasphmer 1 Tim 1:13-15

13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Does this sound like Paul preached a potential Saviour ?

1) We were once not a people, therefore not yet chosen to be His own possession.
2) We were once children of wrath, therefore not yet chosen to be children of God.
3) We were once without mercy, therefore not yet mercifully chosen for God's own possession.
4) We were once dead in our sins, therefore not yet made alive together with Christ. Therefore we were not individually chosen "in Him" before the foundation of the world. Rather we were chosen and placed into Him when God credited our faith as righteousness, 2 Thessalonians 2:13.
5) When we were chosen and placed into Him, Christ went from our potential savor, to our actual savor. Those that deny the lost have the opportunity for salvation because Christ provides their means of reconciliation, deny the very gospel of Christ.

LOL, nobody said God chose "the whole body of INDIVIDUAL members." This is all they do folks, rewrite to misrepresent. They are deceivers.

The old chestnut of Calvinism is to claim a corporate election refers to a group of individuals. That of course is NOT the alternate view!

Here is a snippet from Got Questions:

Corporate election is the idea that, when God elected or predestined [a kind of] people to be saved, He did not pick out individual people; rather, God chose Christ. Since Christ is the chosen one, all who come to Christ in faith are part of the chosen group. This view is sometimes called “class election” or expressed as God’s predestining “the way of salvation.” In other words, “God chose the plan, not the man.” He chose the corporate entity in which salvation can take place (“in Christ”), but He did not choose the individuals who would be saved. ​

Christ was chosen as God's Redeemer, His Lamb and therefore His Redemption plan established "the way of salvation" which of course is faith in the truth as credited by God as righteousness. Therefore the individuals who had been chosen INDIVIDUALLY" and placed into Christ during their physical lifetime, had been chosen corporately before the foundation of the world as the target group of God's redemption plan - believers whose faith might be credited as righteousness.

A faction of believers think we were only chosen corporately, rather then initially corporately before the foundation of the world, but then individually during our physical lifetime. However, the corporate interpretation of Ephesians 1:4 does NOT negate our individual election based on faith if and when God credits their faith as righteousness.

You did not answer the question BF. If you were in Christ B4 the foundation of the world how could you be in Adam? We never are in Adam. We are judged because we sin not because Adam sinned. Because of our sin we will die just as Adam did.

I did answer you BF, you just ignored the answer.

We never are in Adam. We are judged because we sin not because Adam sinned. Because of our sin we will die just as Adam did.

1Co_15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

Note what God said to Adam

Gen 3:17 Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life.
Gen 3:18 "Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; And you will eat the plants of the field;
Gen 3:19 By the sweat of your face You will eat bread, Till you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, And to dust you shall return."


Rom_5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

The consequence of Adam's sin is that all will die. We are all judged for our own sins we are not judged for Adam's sin

You did not answer my question BF.

If you were in Christ B4 the foundation of the world how could you be in Adam?
