Zionism Undermines our Gospel
As soon as I saw the name "Rothschilds" in the article as inventing the term, and the weird idea that Scofield perpetuated Zionism, I knew it was nothing more than a conspiracy theory. (No source is given for either of these assumed facts. It's always a red flag when assumptions are stated as facts.) And then the term "preterist" popped up, and asterisktom is a full preterist (doesn't believe in the Second Coming), so there you have it. Viola (the interjection, not the instrument)! And then, of course, there is the link on the same page touting the myth of the "Gaza Genoc!de" (sic).

The fact remains that our war with Iran is predicated on 1000s of Americans being killed by Iran and their terrorist proxies over the years, not on Zionism. I have always thought Jimmy Carter should have declared war on Iran.

The term "Zionism" was originally about getting Jews back into the land of Israel. (An historical fact that needs no proof to knowledgeable people.) Nowadays Islamists use the word as a way to criticize Israel, and not in line with history.

My only question: Are the Illuminati involved? :Cautious

Carter waited way too long to take action against Iran.

Right! And even then he sent a very small force, which was a complete failure. I remember all of it well. And as you know, as soon as Reagan was elected--a very tough president--they gave back the hostages. Iran only respects military force.

Interesting that now there is civil war beginning in Iran. And it is not the Illuminati fighting!!

I'm wondering why this is in the Baptist Theology & Bible Study" forum. No Scripture or theology was given. And note that aterisktom himself is the author. (Is he putting forth anti-Zionism as theology?) And in the article itself, only the story of the Good Samaritan is mentioned, which has literally no connection whatsoever to Zionism.

A civil war there will only successful if the soldiers within the Republican Guard turn against their leadership. The people are unarmed.

What I read is that the RG is fighting the army. They are separate organizations. The army is much larger, and can easily defeat the RG and overthrow the terrorist government if they want to take it that far.

I do not know that asterisktom has read "The Protocols of the Elders...," though it is easily available on the Internet. However, that completely fictional Russian book is the source of much of the anti-Israel sentiment both throughout the 20th century, and now apparently in the 21st century. It is all over the Internet, but even Wikipedia (which is often wrong) calls it an "antisemitic hoax and forgery" (The Protocols of the Elders of Zion - Wikipedia). The Nazis used it, and it is the source of much modern antisemitism.

The real point here is that both Jews and Arabs need Jesus Christ.
Netanyahu and his cronies want Arabs out of the West Bank and Gaza. Hamas and their cronies want Israelis out of Israel. 'And never the twain shall meet.' Unless, 'He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more' (Isaiah 2:4).

I am sure that the fulness of this prophecy will not come about until our Lord returns, but should we not be praying for the progress of the Gospel and the triumph of the Prince of Peace in the Levant - Israel, Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria - in our time?

May I live to see it!

Do you mean right now? I haven't heard of it. Or are you referring to the protests that were so brutally put down a few months ago?
Can you give a link? I'm not doubting you; I am just unaware of it.
Happening right now:
. I've seen it elsewhere, but this was my main source. The Artesh (regular army) is apparently fighting the Islamic Guard. The Artesh apparently has 3 times the soldiers, so we'll see what happens.

I hate to burst you bubble John. There is The Daily Jargan newspaper in India that is a legitimate news source. The Daily Jagran Youtube channel is not. Look closely at the video. She's standing in front of a green screen. Look behind the "reporter." That is not a newsroom and you don't hear any noise from them at all. Look closely at her and look along the outline of her body. It's a green screen behind her. This channel operates more like an aggregator and entertainment-driven "explainer" channel than a rigorous, professional news operation. They are not doing original reporting. They do not have journalists inside Iran, nor do they have access to classified intelligence. They are reading public internet forums, social media, and OSINT blogs, and then writing a script based on it.

Labeling a structural supply-chain argument as "2 rival armies are destroying Tehran from the inside" is a deliberate misrepresentation designed to generate ad revenue from views.

The friction between the regular army (the Artesh) and the ideological Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps boils down to an engineered imbalance in resources, trust, and ultimate purpose. For over 45 years, the regime's core strategy has been to keep these two military bodies permanently unequal and mutually suspicious so they could never unite against the government.
The IRGC acts as a powerful economic powerhouse in Iran, controlling multi-billion dollar domestic commercial industries, lucrative oil contracts, and strategic weapons like ballistic missiles and drones. They enjoy direct access to top political leadership and receive the highest budget allocations.

The Artesh, by contrast, handles standard, heavy territorial defense but has historically been marginalized, underfunded, and strictly monitored under intense ideological control. The clash between the two comes down to logistics. This is not in any form a civil war brewing in Iran.

If what this channel is reporting were believed to be true by legitimate news sources it would be reported by them. Trump would certainly be talking about it. It's because of channels like this one, that misinformation is dispersed and then people fall for it and believe it's true, post the link, and the channel gets more hits that leads to more revenue.

Thanks for the correction, friend. I'll keep looking.

Christians do not hate the Jews, or those who chant "from the river to the sea." We are to love the lost, and our enemies. But that does not mean we should abandon our protection of human life from those who believe murder is justified. We believe we should treat others the way we want to be treated, with truth, justice and mercy.

Bottom Line:
Nothing undermines Our Gospel. Full Stop
