Washington Post is conservative?

I just heard the Washington Post called conservative. Is this true?

Of course, ABC was the 'news' organization spreading that information?

The Washington Times is right-wing in outlook, and is owned by the Unification Church.

As for The Washington Post being liberal ... well, that is in the eye of the beholder. This is the newspaper whose reporters, Woodward and Bernstein, brought down Richard Nixon. Well, actually, he brought himself down, but their digging facilitated the demise. Woodward has now published, as I expect most know, a new book highly critical of the Bush administration. But the newspaper is an equal-opportunity exposer -- they took Clinton's sins to the front page too.

I have read the Post nearly every morning for 35 years and am never bored with it!

The Washington Times is extremist owned by a man who claims to be a messiah or the messiah but he fully represents the spirit of
anti-christ ...Ken you need to be careful and do your research about the
Washington Times.

Actually the Washington Post has actually become more conservative but I agree they seem to be well balanced....the Washington Times is not even close in integrity....Christians should not support anyone who claims to be the messiah and that means not even touching the Washington Times. amen.

Ken,

I like your assessment, but if the times is owned by an anti-christ - it makes me sick . . . it just me, I cannot get past things like that.

;)

Thanks!

The Washington Post is mainstream - neither liberal nor conservative. It's columnists represent a broad spectrum.

They do original reporting unlike some newspapers that depend solely on outside newssources. Their goal is to make money and garner power.

I know about the Washington Times, ASLANSPAL. And I said nothing in defense of the owner of the newspaper. So why are you attacking me as if I did?

The Washington Post tends to be liberal in its editorial outlook and the Washington Times tends to be conservative in its editorial outlook. This is undeniable reality. Just accept it and move on.

Translation: 'If you publish facts that the American people should know about malfeasance by elected officials, you are "helping the terrorists." '

Nixon tried that one, too.

Didn't work for him, either.

Except that Nixon . . . wasn't leading our country against the terrorists.
