You like ambient music? I did some of that but it wasn't well received.

How many here hold to The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints

I believe the elect do preserver in faith although they may waiver from time to time. My proof text is Hebrews 10:39: But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

They told me to sing tenor. Tenor eleven miles down the road.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Grandpa was correct again. Even Matthew Henry uses the word "dispensation" to refer to epochs distinguished by God's workings under different covenants. And he certainly was not a Dispensationalist.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

You should've stuck with your grandpa :). I share his views on the "beginning" of the church, and I probably go farther than he does with it, as I count the calling of Adam and Eve out of hiding as the beginning of the "Church", that is, God's assembly or congregation.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Yes, I've seen three different videos where he disowns dispensationalism, particularly the idea of a "dispensation of grace".

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

So did I but I'm finding out how wrong I was to assume that all fundamentalists were/are dispensationalists.

Is this true? John and Jack both were premil but not dispensational?

This was my best effort at playing classical. Not bad but I blew the trills.

I've heard of Fahey but not the others. I listen to mostly classical guitar these days. I tried playing classical but I kept breaking my nails working around the house. Here's Tariq Harb playing Clair de lune by Debussy. He makes it look easy. I ordered the tab and believe me, it ain't easy.

Yes but I have not played for a couple of years now.

    Dispensationalism

Mauro wrote some great stuff. I have his Chronology of the Whole Bible and Daniel's 70 Weeks.
