    Preterism and Partial Preterism

I think FP's only real weakness is the idea that the natural world goes on forever and is never redeemed, as in the creation is never freed of physical death, predation, etc. I think that's the only hang up I have with it.

    Preterism and Partial Preterism

For several years I was satisfied with my Partial Preterism and Post Mil approach to the end times. After the Presbyterians got up a big fuss with one another over something Gary DeMar had said or done, threatening to kick him out their church as such like, I decided that I needed to check out...

Matt Walsh: "Rock Music is Completely Dead".

This podcast by Matt Walsh is brilliant. However he misses what is perhaps the most important factor in the death of American music artistry, particularly of the Country, Rock, and Blue genres: the passing of Agrarianism. I'm speaking of musical artistry born of the existentialist/survivalist...

Recommending The Apocalypse of John by Milton S Terry - has anyone else read it?

One of the interesting things about Milton Terry is that while many Bible Colleges use his book on Hermeneutics, none of them actually apply his method to the book of Revelation nor do they use his book on Revelation in the classroom.

Never heard of Martin. I'll check it out. By the way are you familiar with Ed Stevens?

Recommending The Apocalypse of John by Milton S Terry - has anyone else read it?

Many books on Revelation, few of them speak to me. This one did. In a big way. I rarely do underlining in a book but I was underlining almost every line of the introduction in this one. Has anyone else here read it?

Are there Fundamentalist Calvinist Baptists then?

I saw this thread a few days ago and was trying to remember a man's name and lo and behold I saw him today on my Facebook feed. His name is Henry Mahan. He was IFB and Sovereign Grace Calvinist. There's about a dozen churches which comprise his following. I visited one in New Jersey a few...

    A bridge too far...

A lot of people are blaming Paula White for this. She's a complete charlatan but think about who is really influencing Trump these days. Is Paula White pushing him on this war he's started or is it someone else?

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Yes, creedalists will always find some detail of their creed with which to exclude others from their party.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Yes, but he said a future, repentant Israel. Not 1948 Israel. I agree with JRR except where he would say they "will" repent, I would say they "may" repent. He would say it's a prophetic event; I would say it's not prophetic but providential.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Correct. Christ was sent to the Jews first. If they were cast away he would have just went straight to the Gentiles.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Christ was the fulfillment of the promises to Abraham. Paul was one of the remnant who received the promises by faith in Christ.

John R Rice and Jack Hyles were not dispensationalists?

Yes, I am rusty but I would like to take it to test my memory Clarification: I do not agree with those who say that there IS a future for ethnic Israel. I mean covenantaly and prophetically. The modern nation of Israel may or may not have a future as a geopolitical nation-state, depending on...
