The Senior Pastor Is Most Important

Knave (Noun) - A rogue (vagrant), a rascal, deceitful fellow, a dishonest man. And to let John Wesley describe it better... LONDON September 20, 1788 My Dear Brother: There is, indeed, a wide difference between the relation wherein you stand to the Americans and the relation wherein I stand...

    Question for Baptists

Good teaching! We are not against Catholics confessing Christ and Christian. We just don't want to be a part of the Church at Rome (Thyatira as you say). I would also tell Catholics that there was an Orthodox church before them. Pergos is a tower, needed in the dark ages.

    Question for Baptists

I consider myself an Anabaptist. Anabaptist is a Christian movement that emerged during the 16th-century Reformation, distinguished by its emphasis on adult baptism (believer's baptism). We do not sprinkle or baptize infants. Only humans who we consider have come into an age of accountability...

    Question for Baptists

12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15 Lest any should...

    Personal Evolution

Tough future! I remember when reading the book 2150AD by Thea Alexander I imagined a future of advanced society where everyone walked around in great shape and in tunics. Looking like leadership of the Roman Empire of old. Everywhere I go it seems like people are terribly out of shape these...

    Personal Evolution

For decades I had no need to explore anymore into this philosophy as there was so much wonderful experience inside my churches of choice. Now the revivals are behind us I see the need to delve back into this study… Especially as a movement can easily pass from hot to lukewarm to cold these...

    Personal Evolution

My Christian experience evolved in three denominational schools of thought 1. GARBC Baptist 2. Free Will Baptist 3. Pentecostal Holiness No regrets. And I of heart do not think one denomination is better than the other. Most Pentecostal Holiness preachers I know will go on to get Masters...

John Bunyan... The simple passage from Martin Luther's commentary on the book of Galatians that made such a huge difference on this uneducated man's life. And the simplicity that was passed down in his own works as well... How easy it is to receive Salvation and the Holy Ghost... Paul taught...

The Senior Pastor Is Most Important

2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach. 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in...

    Fatherly Wisdom with Zac

At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. - John 16:26-27
