    A bridge too far...

Jake Love you, brother. And I say this in love. I simply want us to condemn what is wrong. I also want us to pray in earnest for DJT. I want us to take Galations 6:7 to heart and really listen to what Scarlet said about judgement. Trump, as leader of this nation absolutely mocked God. Trump...

    A bridge too far...

It's important to think about this Biblically... Galatians 6:7 "Do not be deceived: God will not be mocked." The president of our country just mocked God. I now think a better analogy of Trump's leadership might be Ahab rather than Nebuchadnezzar. We know how that worked out.

    A bridge too far...

I voted for this man 3 X. The last time was a mistake. Trump posted this on his truth social last night. It is the single most offensive, blasphemous and heretical thing I have ever seen or heard a president do. The Easter post was bad enough...but this. He doesn't care but I no longer will...

    DJT Easter message. Really????

I do not have TDS, but this I do not support. I do fear for his mental health. The language is horrific. Further, bombing civilian power plants is prohibited by the Geneva Convention. How many civilians will die because of this. All this will do is create a new generation of terrorists...

    SAVE America Act

I am for showing ID. However, I was told that a passport would be required to vote if this law is passed. I am not for that. Then it just becomes a poll tax (passports are 165.00) that many folks just cannot afford especially SC on fixed incomes. State real ID's should be enough.

    Lent...

It's Lent - eve. A special time of year for me. I don't make a big deal out of it, but I have been practicing Lent for decades. Never been Catholic, or even ever been to a Catholic Mass, Wedding or Funeral. I do, however find the practice of prayer, fasting, reading more scripture and higher...

God does not trust me with riches

I think that we need to ask ourselves "what is rich." The avg American is rich compared to 90% of the world. I mean I don't consider myself rich, but perhaps I should. I live in a house that is paid for, own 2 cars that are paid for, and sent 2 boys to college. Is that rich? I think maybe so...

Are You Satisfied With President Trump?

Honestly, given the same two candidates I would have to vote for Trump. Having said that I am quite dissatisfied. I want a social and fiscal conservative and Trump is none of that. I am totally opposed to tariffs. I do not like the military in our cities. And we are no closer to peace in the...

It's personal between me and Him

Salty is soooo right. There a few things on this planet that are a bridge to far. Broccoli is one of them :)

Communist Flag now atop every page at SBC's Baptist Press

There are things in this world to be upset about. This isn't one of them.

The Giants of the faith are leaving us....

Loved Pastor Baucham. He was a powerful preacher. I will miss him.

    Still required to obey?

We adopted three Native American children. One was a boy and when we adopted him (through the tribal court system) one of the stipulations was that he had to have traditional hair (quite long) until he was 16 and then he could decide. We agreed. The boy has been and is a huge blessing to us...
